Good series but a pally using Lay on Hands is an immediate disqualification in any sort of duel setting. If a pally is going to lay on hands then im just going to arcane bomb him or chug any pot I see fit. If you're going to allow LoH then you have to allow soulstone and reincarnation use too.

So far you're the only person to bring this up, It doesn't seem like as big a deal to other people.

@@thatdevils it's an hour long cd that heals 100% for free instantly. No other class has anything near that in classic. Its different than rocket helm because all classes can use that, it can break on prematurely and you can counter play it with skull and class spells.

@@theperfectbeing Right I understand that and without typing an essay I'll say a few things. Creating rules where everyone is happy won't ever happen, take a look at CDL's rules earlier this year when they held a 50k prize pot. Within their many rules they had Thistle Tea, Mana Gem and Warlock Health Stones banned.
The reason those items were banned was an attempt to balance out classes that had a higher advantage in Classic WoW duels than other characters. (looking at you sl warlocks)
Bringing it back to LOH and other spells like; (warriors; Reck / Shield wall) we felt we could allow these spells to help out the balance. Each dueler has 90s in-between duels and if the Pally had used LOH in his very first match, he would of had to make it to the grand finals on his 3rd match to even have it be back up again.
It's not a perfect system, just a few brains working on the rules together while everyone else voices what's wrong. Ultimately we asked people if they would rather have more rules or less, so we went with the ladder and have allowed most items / spells in the game.
