Ahh, yes. My favourite Star Wars Movie. For me it's always a roller coaster of emotions. I will laugh, I will cry and I will be super satisfied at the end of the movie. Cheers.
OMG I don't even have a word for how amazing this movie is to me. I cried again watching you watch it. Beautiful. Well crafted. Well acted. Well written. I love it so much and I'm glad you do too! I grew up with Star Wars from the very beginning. I was 3 years old when I saw A New Hope in the theater in 1977. I was hooked on movies and a fan of Star Wars in an instant! My teenage son grew up with them too, but it wasn't until recently that he says he became a legit fan. Something about these new Star Wars movies has sparked the same joy in him that I experienced as a child with the originals and he's even reading Star Wars books now too! It makes me extremely happy (and even proud) that he is truly converted to the fandom. We're glad you're here too!
She died days before I saw it. I, and the whole theater I was in, was FLOORED when she showed up! No idea it was coming. It was so we'll done. Brief, tasteful, impactful, perfect
Watching you enjoy this movies has made me so emotional... It started like "Yes!! He was surprised!!!" And now it's like I actually get teary eyed with pieces of the movie and how you react... But anyway, hehe, I wanted to tell you that the CGI in this movie looks amazing not just because it's very modern, but actually Garrett Edwards (the director) has a great sense of scale and proportions. He directed the last 2 Godzilla movies and you can tell, he's the one with that kind of vision specifically. Keep doing the movies and series my dear Nasser! It's been a blast to have this journey by your side. God loves you.
Definitely my favorite outside the original trilogy. But I grew up on those, so they will always be my favorites. You can imagine being 9 years old and seeing The Empire Strikes Back in the theater, and how everything on the screen is bigger than life when you're that young. That's what will always stick with me. I get the same feeling with the first Superman movie with Reeve.
It is so easy to fall in love with star wars. It is much more beautiful than every alternative universe i ever thought. It is a paradise universe. Every single episode is a magic journey.
Greetings from Northern California! To me....this is the BEST Star Wars film, aside from Episode 4. #4 was where it all started so to me it needs to take the top spot. But Rogue One sets up Ep. 4. so it comes in as a TIGHT second place. Hands down my favorite. So much so that I own a Nissan Rogue Star Wars Edition! Great vid and commentary! P.S. .......you'll LOVE the Mandalorian! It's Star Wars at its best. The creators are true fans and have created a masterpiece.
I've been watching this series from the beginning and have thoroughly enjoyed experiencing these movies with you! Once you're done with everything, consider watching the Clone Wars and Rebels shows; they do a fantastic job of tying together chunks of time between movies (and they're really REALLY good animated shows too!). For the finally, treat yourself to a trip to Galaxy's Edge and film your reaction to being there and meeting Star Wars characters!
don't know about Galaxy's Edge, but definitely agree you need to watch Clone Wars (beware the movie, though) and Rebels. Still watching Clone Wars (up to season 5 now), but Rebels was fantastic for me. LOTS of new Jedi skills, ablities, and causes. Really fleshes out the movies. I know most people might not agree, but the Mortis episodes AND the World Between Worlds are probably my fav's.
Rogue One was definitely the best film that Disney created and the fact that you said, "the script omg" means you know it to be true and you said they didn't have to use nostalgia to win us over is what they should have done for the sequel trilogy in the first place. Correction though Jen's father first worked on the Death Star willingly until he realise what the Empire was up to and then he declined and disappeared is why Director Krennick was looking for him at the opening of the film where his wife Lyra was shot and killed and Jen was a child.
Please watch TCW and Rebels. Its literally Star Wars at its best! If you loved the movies you won't have a word to describe how much you'd love these shows lol The characters, the world building, the character development it's all just so amazing.
In this film you can see Organa and young Leia. I like that, father and daughter. In episode 4 when Alderaan is distroyed you can't imagine how much she lost.
While I’m a huge huge fan of Star Wars, Lord of the Rings was my favorite since I was 3. Even now, 17 years later, it is still my favorite trilogy of all time. That made me so happy to hear you say you’re going to watch it after you finish Star Wars
"Something about these movies just makes my heart big." That's it right there. That's why I love Star Wars, the good, the bad, the meh. All of it. They all give me that feeling and have done since I was a kid (I'm an older millenial who first saw them on a CED player). It's been really nice to be reminded through your videos that people can still find joy in a first viewing even if they do already know some of the story beats through pop-culture.
I can understand how excited you felt man. The return of Senator Organa, Leia's stepfather, the digital recreation of Governor Moff Tarkin (Peter Cushing's character from 'A New Hope'), the return of Darth Vader, the cameo appearance of C-3PO and R2-D2, the digital recreation of Princess Leia in her young form... They were all great. And the filming was superb. Peace out dude. REALLY looking forward to your 'Rise of Skywalker' review!!!!!! Take care.
I'm glad that I am not the only one who appreciated the daunting task of creating a fully-CG rendered Grand Moff Tarkin. I remember seeing Rogue One in IMAX and being absolutely blown away. I loved it & his purpose in the film was earned.
I saw this film just the day after Carrie Fisher passed away, not a full day after the news, and when I saw her at the end, tears came from my eyes, not just see her just digesting the news, but seeing her in the form that all of us knew her at the beginning of the few minutes of all this saga. It was kind of sad, but when she said "hope" and look at the emptiness... I don't know what I'm saying anymore, but it was emotional, with the news of her passing away SO fresh
You're absolutely part of the Star Wars fandom. The moment you looked wide-eyed at something that happened is the moment you became part of the Star Wars fandom.
This is one of my all time favorite SW movies! I saw it 4 times in the theater when it came out. I'm so glad you enjoyed it so much. Watching your reaction was a blast.
I love Rogue One. Just watching this video was making me tear up at points . It’s so good all around with the story and visuals and connecting it with 4.
@NASSER i would suggest watching the clone wars before the mandolorian because at this point clone wars does more for StarWars as a whole than the mandolorian
I loved the reaction on your face first when you saw R2D2 and C3PO at the rebel base in the midst of the Mayan temples on Yavin 4, and again when you saw Princess Leia on board the starcraft. Priceless! 😊
My favorite part of star wars is the war and the small people doing everything in their power to save the galaxy. I love how the entire series is filled with failure and despair, but the heros can keep going with nothing more then hope. That's why rogue one, clone wars some of rebels and jedi fallen order are my favorite star wars... Things.
This movie hit me hard when I saw it in the theater. I'm 41 so I grew up with Star Wars. But for some reason this movie made me the most emotional and I connected so much with Jyn that I actually cried when I realized she wasn't going to live.
Great Reaction! I Love Rogue One :D Star Wars Easter Egg : Gareth Edwards the Director of R1 made a cameo appearance in The Last Jedi movie during the Battle of Crait
I love your opinion and the fact that you are keeping it real, it’s your experience with the wonderful Star Wars Universe. Please react to the clone wars série and Rebels, you are missing the best character of all: Ahsoka Tano!
This movie is PHENOMENAL! Action A+ Plot A+ Characters A+ Special effects (especially in space) A+ Sacrilege, this is challenging Empire Strokes Back for my #1 spot. IT'S THAT GREAT! This is the missing piece of the saga we never knew we needed. It just delivers! The sacrifice these nameless rebels made really hits Hard! They knew their chances were bleak and they charged in anyway. The grunts on the beach, the fleet, Blue squadron had to know they would be severely outnumbered inside the shield, but dove in with full afterburners. Galen Erso sacrificed 1/3 of his life for the rebellion, even after losing everything. He never fired a shot but practically saved the Galaxy. Beautiful, gritty story, Bravo
After you finish watching everything, rise of skywalker, solo, the mandalorian. You should watch the clone wars. It's an animated TV show. I think you'll really like it
@@upthevilla9505 I'm sure he'll eventually watch it. And he's clearly an adult... Hello! I´ve seen all of your Star Wars reactions -except for The Clone Wars one, as I haven´t seen the series - and I´m so happy to see someone truly enjoying the movies for what they are, trying to acknowledge the impact they made in their correspondent decades and being really open and ready to appreciate underrated characters as movie-Anakin. I have to say that I watched TROS on cinemas and I felt really upset about the turn of events for certain characters, especially for Kylo/Ben. I didn´t fully understand the Skywalker-surname-appropriation issue. But now that several months have passed, I sort of came to terms with the saga, got a new perspective on some details and I guess we just have to enjoy this final product as it is, the end of a series. It´s been refreshing to rewatch it whole along with you and I hope you keep on discovering new old movies. I love seeing young people appreciating this material, there are so many good old movies and young people nowadays just dismiss everything that appeared before the 2000s just because CGI was "lame". Classics such as Alien and Indiana Jones have literally cemented the way cinema has been done during the last four decades and that´s to be appreciated. Thanks for your videos! Keep up with the good job. Greetings from the south of Spain!
What also made the original movies so special for those of us who grew up with them was the technology. Lucasfilm and ILM pushed the VFX technology of the day to the limits so Star Wars fans at the time were being treated not only to this great mythology, but also amazing advances in VFX, and even advances in cinema presentation, Return of the Jedi gave us THX quality control for cinemas and home theaters.
Hands down my second favorite Star Wars movie, right after the original of course. Also of course your a Star Wars fan Nasser, no matter how many movies you’ve seen or how much merchandise you own, the Force is strong with you
Just know that when you watch Solo, the ending has a reveal that may not make sense to you unless you've seen the Clone Wars and Rebels animated series. the last episode of The Mandalorian is the same. A reveal from the animated series.
It will still makes sense. All you need to see is robot legs and you can fill in the dots. And the end of mandalorian still makes sense you just don’t have the backstory which isn’t really essential
Yes, this is probably my favorite SW film of all time. It always switches with ANH. Love all the characters, the score is INCREDIBLE and the ending battle is the greatest end battle, IMO, ever
Thoroughly enjoyed your reaction Nasser. Out of all of the Disney era Star Wars films, this is my favorite. It's the one movie I found no fault in. This, from a long time original EU (aka Legends) fan who recognizes where many elements in this film were "borrowed" from. It still did not detract from me becoming emotionally invested in this iteration of the characters/elements as well as really appreciating how they wove the story, unlike with parts of the prequel trilogy. We shall discuss that after your final viewing, likely in your recap of the series. Looking forward to your future content. MTFBWY 👍
Sounds like you read my comment on where this movie takes place in the timeline. Vader got a huge response at the theatre I saw this at, great entrance.
Reliving my first viewing through your first time viewing Star Wars remind me of why I like Star Wars. I almost forgot how much I like Rogue One and it was a masterpiece.
This is amazing! You’re honestly such a great reactor! I love that you aren’t a hater of the newer stuff, cause although yeah there are problems with them, but there’s problems with ever f*cking movie, they’re beautiful to watch so surely that is enough. Anyway, I love that although you know how some of the fan base reacts to these, you’ll still go in with an open mind and I honestly love that! Keep up the awesome reactions man!
Did any of the Rebel fighter pilots look familiar? Biggs, Wedge, Porkins... I found it odd that one of the best perfromances (Peter Cushing as Grand Moff Tarkin) was by an actor who had been dead of 20 years. The impersonation and CGI were both impressive.
You should totally watch clone wars. If not on the channel then on your own. And don't be thrown off by the fact that it's animated, (I'd say it's surprisingly not childish despite despite being animated) it's really good, and it gets better and better in every way as the seasons progress. It makes the prequels at least 10 times better (and it makes the order 66 scene in revenge of the sith at least 10 times more depressing)
I've been binge-watching your reactions to SW lately and I have to say that your love for SW warms my heart and that I can't wait to see you react to The Mandalorian
this movie is great, they managed to make both a really good movie and a really good Star Wars movie here, this is the best movie that was made after the first 6, really happy they did this I was skeptical about it but they did a great job, they got the "war" element into it, very well shot, very well directed, good story, action was well done, everybody did a good job, that Darth Vader scene at the end is just amazing, killing off everybody was very good because it just makes sense and it really makes the movie better with the ending, not surprised you enjoyed it so much :)
Thanks, Nasser! 🌠 Of course you're part of the STAR WARS fandom. Your heart is open... and you're enjoying them all. You'll keep meeting great characters... and each puzzle piece adds to the mammoth galaxy of adventures. We are one with the Force and the Force is with us.
I really like this movie because it really does highlight just how much is at stake for the rebellion. They are willing to take huge risks for a cause that they believe in wholeheartedly. Also, it makes the first few minutes of a new hope unintentionally hilarious because Vader literally sees that ship jump away from the fight and Leia has the balls to say "I'm On A dIpLoMaTiC mIsSiOn"
I think you will really enjoy Rebels. It has a lot of dark storylines, really interesting characters, and a villain from Legends (Before Disney bought Lucasfilm) that I think you will really enjoy watching as well as several guest appearances I think you will really appreciate seeing. I didn't know whether I would like it or not at first, but by halfway through season 1 I was hooked. Glad to see someone else loves all the films as much as I do, and I am a life long fan. Best Regards.
If you’re going to do lord of the rings down the road may I suggest the extended cuts of the hobbit (lord of the rings prequel) and the lord of the rings. Glad you enjoyed Rogue One. If you could react to Star Wars: Clone Wars and Rebels that would be great too. Thanks again for your reaction.
I would'nt recommend watching the extended cuts of the hobbits and the lord of the rings as the first versions. They are very long and the all in all pacing of the theatrical cuts is really better. If you like the movies you can watch the extended cuts later, but if you didn't watch the movies before u should start with the theatrical cuts.
You are totally part of the fandom! One item of note, the Vader scene at the end has to be put in context. For many of us we hadn't seen new footage of Vader and his iconic lightsaber on the big screen since 1983. The impending doom for those guards in that hallway was amazing. Your personal context is really interesting to see, because it's going to be exactly how future generations experience Star Wars.
This movie has a special place for me I was coming from a viewing when I found out Carrie Fisher passed. It was my 2nd viewing I took my niece and mother to see it, and I was getting gas directly across from the theater so it was legit just 5min from me seeing "carrie"(I know it wasn't her but you know what I mean) I just checked my phone and saw the news I shouted "MA!!!!..... SHE DIED!!!!" We knew she had the health emergency days before so it wasn't surprising per se it was just the timing of it.
I recommend you watch the Clone Wars series, Rebels series and the Mandalorian. All three incredible tv series. They all have incredible character development and a good chunk of my favorite Star Wars characters comes from those tv series

When I watched this film the second time in theaters it was the day that Carrie Fischer passed away.
sharp52092 I was driving to the theater to watch it for the first time when I found out she passed away. So that ending was super emotional.
She died days before I saw it. I, and the whole theater I was in, was FLOORED when she showed up! No idea it was coming. It was so we'll done. Brief, tasteful, impactful, perfect
sharp52092 same! Second time for aswell was the day after carrie passed so the end was a lot more emotional
same
Watching you enjoy this movies has made me so emotional...
This and The Last Jedi both have the most amazing cinematography and visuals. They're both beautifully shot films.
If you loved the movies you won't have a word to describe how much you'd love these shows lol
The characters, the world building, the character development it's all just so amazing.
your joy watching these is, like, one of the best things.
In this film you can see Organa and young Leia. I like that, father and daughter. In episode 4 when Alderaan is distroyed you can't imagine how much she lost.
After The Rise of Skywalker you should reacted to The Clone Wars series. I'm sure you will love it
Both the 2D and 3D versions
I agree ,this is Disneys best film
While I’m a huge huge fan of Star Wars, Lord of the Rings was my favorite since I was 3. Even now, 17 years later, it is still my favorite trilogy of all time. That made me so happy to hear you say you’re going to watch it after you finish Star Wars
I saw this movie in theaters the day Carrie Fisher passed. Needless to say, I cried when Leia came on screen.
It is damn good. Beautifully shot and directed. Easily my fave SW film of Disney era.
This is my second favorite after ROTS.
Kyle Reese same
Same and then probably ESB or AOTC
Yes
Welcome to the international family of Star Wars fans Nasser...from a friend in NZ✌😁
Augh even this reaction made me cry! Such a good film.
I love Rogue One. Just watching this video was making me tear up at points . It’s so good all around with the story and visuals and connecting it with 4.
this movie is just stunningly beautiful, and it ties the two first trilogies together so well!
I cried a little bit when K2-SO dies and when when vader cut loose I got a chill
"Something about these movies just makes my heart big." I couldn't have said it better dude.
@NASSER i would suggest watching the clone wars before the mandolorian because at this point clone wars does more for StarWars as a whole than the mandolorian
6:58 Fun fact: The guy talking to Tarkin is General Hurst Romodi who also appeared in A New Hope during the Death Star meeting
“Do you like Star Wars?”
“Yes”
“Welcome aboard!”
Things.
The is 100% my favorite Star Wars movie... I love how gritty this movie is. Its very well done.
This movie hit me hard when I saw it in the theater. I'm 41 so I grew up with Star Wars. But for some reason this movie made me the most emotional and I connected so much with Jyn that I actually cried when I realized she wasn't going to live.
I wasn't expecting Rogue One to be your new favourite, but it pleased me very much. :) I love seeing you connect with these characters.
Great Reaction! I Love Rogue One :D Star Wars Easter Egg : Gareth Edwards the Director of R1 made a cameo appearance in The Last Jedi movie during the Battle of Crait
The scene with Vader at the end is probably my favorite one in all the films i watched in my life (greetings from France love your channel 😊)
I love your opinion and the fact that you are keeping it real, it’s your experience with the wonderful Star Wars Universe. Please react to the clone wars série and Rebels, you are missing the best character of all: Ahsoka Tano!
I like your profile picture.
This movie is PHENOMENAL!
Action A+
Plot A+
Characters A+
Special effects (especially in space) A+
Sacrilege, this is challenging Empire Strokes Back for my #1 spot.
I think you'll really like it
It's a big commitment don't pressure him
@@upthevilla9505 I'm sure he'll eventually watch it. And he's clearly an adult... Saying that he'll be overwhelmed seems kinda patronizing considering that he's not a little kid, and also he's watched all these Star Wars movies, said he's a fan of this universe, and enjoyed every single movie-- it's safe to say he'll end up watching Clone Wars anyway.
Rogue One is my second favourite SW film. Only after SWIII.
This is my favorite Star Wars movie ever
And the end of mandalorian still makes sense you just don’t have the backstory which isn’t really essential
these reactions make me so happy idk why
MTFBWY 👍
Yessss, it's also my favorite, it's so well done and it really makes you care for all the characters
I love getting up Saturday morning and watching your Star Wars videos
YEES, YOU ARE PART OF OUR STAR WARS FAMILY!
Cassian is actually getting his own series on Disney Plus!
I have enjoy watching each reaction video that you make. Each reaction video I watch, the more I fall in love with nasser
Hats off to the deep and perfect analysys you made
You should totally watch clone wars.
I genuinely enjoy your channels reactions so much. And I agree I think this is the second best film behind empire strikes back.
this movie is great, they managed to make both a really good movie and a really good Star Wars movie here, this is the best movie that was made after the first 6, really happy they did this I was skeptical about it but they did a great job, they got the "war" element into it, very well shot, very well directed, good story, action was well done, everybody did a good job, that Darth Vader scene at the end is just amazing, killing off everybody was very good because it just makes sense and it really makes the movie better with the ending, not surprised you enjoyed it so much :)
Star Wars the clone wars is a amazing show to watch, if your a fan it’s a must watch and the same with rebels. It’s a masterpiece
Aaaaah Rogue One is just amazing. My favorite character is Chirrut Imwe: I'm one with the force, the force is with me.
I recomend watching star wars the clone wars.
Like Review each season
Its probably one of, maybe the best star wars content out there
Im glad you are enjoying this. Welcome to the fan club. Saul is from the clone wars cartoon. You got to watch them along with star wars rebels
I cant wait for the Mandalorian reaction!
BTW Solo takes place before rouge one but after revenge of the sith. So it's in between 3 and 4.
Are you really going to react to The Lord of the Rings?? I LOVE them!! They are perfect!
There was a small reference to Obi Wan as well; Organa's "friend"
If you’re going to do lord of the rings down the road may I suggest the extended cuts of the hobbit (lord of the rings prequel) and the lord of the rings.
Glad you enjoyed Rogue One.
If you could react to Star Wars: Clone Wars and Rebels that would be great too.
Thanks again for your reaction.
I disagree, the theatrical version of the hobbit is enough. The extended cuts just last way too long and it’s not worth it.
Yeah, but BOOKS!
Idk if you get this at all but I really enjoy the production value and format of your videos. Keep up the great work!
