Hearing you talking about the chores and responsibilities made me think you’d really enjoy a book called “Hunt, Gather, Parent”. I’ve recently read it and I loved it! It talks about natural parenting ways, still used by some indigenous cultures, and how we can raise helpful, autonomous and kind humans. 😊

The way Zach gently pushed your hair over your shoulder was just so sweet 🥹 Also, I just want to share that your videos and instagram posts on faith, motherhood, and being a wife and homemaker has really encouraged me and is helping through a rut i’ve been stuck in. You are an answered prayer! I seriously prayed for the Lord to help me follow and subscribe to women who fear and serve Him and boom you were in my recommended page. Thank you for sharing your life, it’s impacting mine in a positive way. Blessings 🤍

Okay just a random gardening tip I just learned recently, if you have hot periods 25°c and over its not recommended to water in the mornings but rather in the evening otherwise there is a risk of burning the roots of the plants!

My husband use to put down leaves in the garden at our last place. We was surrounded by maple trees. It does make great mulch and keeps the weeds at bay BUT you will need to research which plants that do not like a lot of acid because leaves are acidic. ❤
Now where we live, we have a huge yard and big hay fields, so we use the grass clippings and hay.

Hi! I just want to say - be carefull about that tiny apple tree. I know it's amazing it has so many apples, but that tiny tree could break. I recommend to you to weed out about one third of the apples... weed out those which might look too small or ill or damaged. My parents have lot of trees in their garden and this is something they've learned over the years!
    Sending love from Slovakia ♥

Baby will be here before you know it! I gave birth two weeks ago today and it is already crazy to think about.
It is so cute that William has been so excited about becoming a big brother. That is so darling.
I am glad your kids are learning so many responsibilities like they have now. It is DEFINITELY good that they know how to do certain things to help out.
It is actually not good to do the method you do for the binky. . .because they are air tight and once you cut it, the baby/child is sucking in air and that is really not good for them!
The little ship sandbox is so cute!! I love it.

Hi Delilah, thanks so much for showing us your garden. 🍅🍓🌶🥒🥦🥕🧅🫛 I love how you have it in rows & the little rock path, so cute & easy to get each section. Ahh...can't believe William is going to be 2. He's so cute & helping with the garden 🌹🪻🌞. It's good you have chores for them. I had my 3 older kids doing dishes, their laundry, vacuuming, etc. Setting table & clearing it too! We had a chart & every week they would rotate. So it turned out well. They were 7,6,5, & my youngest was all most 4 he did little things like William is doing. My older 2 could even make a meal. When the girls were 8&9, they made me a meal on my day off from work. Their Dad was at work, so I was by myself. I was so surprised, I loved it! 😢I'm so sorry you have to go through another C-section, but it'll turn out good, being the baby is in good health! God Bless you & your baby. You have a wonderful & caring family! Thank you so much for sharing! ❤☺️🫂🍄🦋💐

Just a annoying piece of info for anyone watching thinking about the paci trick. Do so with your own parental discretion as it can actually pose a big choking hazard to snip them like that. Most soothers will say on the package to discard at any sign of damage to the soother part as it can be dangerous. ❤

Hi Delilah! I love your garden. I agree that there is nothing better than fresh veggies and fruit. Be careful using leaves in your garden. Mulching is some is really great. Just be careful your leaves do not have any mold on them because any insects or diseases will affect your crops. Good luck ❤!

  • @mandysteffan2958
    @mandysteffan2958 ปีที่แล้ว

I was diagnosed with a complete placenta previa at 19 weeks when I had the hopes of a home birth. While the placenta had moved slightly by 29 weeks, it was still a complete previa. At first I felt shattered because I really had hoped for a home birth and this is likely my last baby. But the last several months has been a time of surrender and perspective shifts. God has brought me to 33.5 weeks with no complications and no bleeds so far. And even if one happens before my sweet boy comes, I know he is big and healthy and God is with him. This will certainly be a different experience than I had expected, but I can't wait to roll into the hospital in a few short weeks knowing I will get to meet my son who has been actively letting me know of his presence for months now. I'm sure he's trying to escape out the top. 😜And I am so excited for my first to be a big brother and to know a new and amazing kind of companionship. This pregnancy has been full of low lows and high highs, but I can't help but feel God's peace and strength in my bones through it all. God bless you all in your unexpected journey as well.

It might be too hot for your peas. They like cool weather and should be giving you peas by now, not just starting. Plant them as soon as the soil is not frozen, even if it still snows several times after. They like it cool.

Delilah your garden is beautiful. About the peas. Peas like cold and fairly dry. I live in Minnesota so similar climate to yours. I plant my peas as soon as I can after the snow melts. I water them in good and then do not water them again unless they start looking wilty. I have heard that we can grow them in the fall when it's cooler as well. I didn't get mine in this spring so I'm going to try for fall peas this year. I hope this helps.

Then they stop blooming. Just the same as those butterfly lilac plants. Wishing you all the best with #4 ❤. I have 3 myself. My youngest boy is also 2. But we are stopping now 😅.

@@Michellezavl77 But in all fairness, idk how people can live in bitter cold winters. I couldn't do it. Been a desert rat too long. It's easier to cool down than warm up. At least for me.

I'm an Arizona viewer too. I want to move somewhere colder so bad!!! My husband is from Alaska and I get overheated super easy now thanks to a medical condition I developed....so we are not enjoying the summer as much as usual this year.

Can you share with us what is that “wise words for mom” chart you got on the freezer door. Very interested in it since I have been trying to incorporate other ways and tone to ask or communicate with my kids thing they should do or want to talk about. ❤❤❤❤

I’m curious, is saying the ‘h’ in herb a Canadian thing? Here in the states the ‘h’ is always silent. Hearing Delilah pronounce it several times while talking about her garden threw me off 😅

I think it could be regional in America, I definitely say herb with the h, and so does everyone I know.
