    Great. Do briqs burn longer or faster than without flour ? & smokier ?

    • @Patricia_Gathogo
      @Patricia_Gathogo  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      All briquettes need some sort of binder to help the parts stick..hence the flour.unless you are asking how they compare to ordinary charcoal..if yes here's a link to the video

  • @eyamac3088

    Good video . But flour is a bit inconvenient specially for business, may be is there any other option...

    • @Patricia_Gathogo
      @Patricia_Gathogo  ปีที่แล้ว

      Try different varieties of flour. Alternatively you can use soil ( loam) is best as a binder. The downside is it will be left behind after the briquette is all burnt up.

    Hi, this is a good video and also your other one on making charcoal briquettes is nice. Do you have to bring the flour and water to a boil or can you just mix the flour and water directly into the charcoal powder?

    • @Patricia_Gathogo
      @Patricia_Gathogo  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Really appreciate the positive feedback. It doesn't have to come to a complete boil..but heating it makes it a more efficient binder...but you can try and see how it turns out.. then make a choice from there. Cheers.

      1:100..🙂...it's a bit intuitive. I suggest you start with a small batch first to get a feel of the process and the ratios...the water will do most of the work
