Here’s our walk around and thoughts on our stay at the Bonterra Resort at Benicassim
We also visited the town of Castellon de la Plana and Sue fought her fear of heights.
And the Festival of Saint Antoni was still banging!! 😃

lovely, i wouldnt have gone up that tower, i would have struggled up and down, and no, i dont like heights niether..used to but not these days..

Spain has some amazing architecture. The resort seemed really nice. The beach is so pretty.

The culture and the people are just so friendly and welcoming. It’s a bit mad but always so vibrant!
Hello Dave and Sue, lovely town. Lovely fountain, the tower had so many steps. The clock mechanism was amazing. You were really high up. What a view though. Lots of eateries and another beautiful beach. You are having a really lovely trip. Take care x Julie and Tony x
Such a wonderful trip guys. The prices are really crazy. Up to half the cost that you would expect in the UK. Even diesel is around 30% cheaper. The culture is wonderful

We just couldn’t work out how people in the town actually ever slept!

Yes, we’ve had an amazing trip and we have loved every minute. As we wend our way home, we think we’re so fortunate to have done this and hoping for many more trips like this before we can’t.
Benicassim is a brilliant place and Bonterra a wonderful friendly site

We had an absolute blast at Benicassim - Bonterra is a great campsite. Has been one one of our favourites anywhere! We loved watching you vids on Alannia - we loved it there too but Bonterra pipped it for best. Benicassim was crazy the week we were there 🤣🤣

Hi David. Yep it was. But not for Sue! Amazing views from up there. And loved Castellon. But then, we loved everywhere we went in Spain!!
Surprised you didn't see/film all the historical villas all along the prom...quite interesting when you read the signs for each one 🤩
Yes we did think of that Helen. But felt that the Festival atmosphere was too good to miss!

Happy Thursday Dave & Sue! I know you are heading home today, but this was a nice view of how Spain is like for you. Cheap prices, grand views (the clock is amazing) and good campsites to stay at (but bring earplugs). So I guess you once more have congratulated yourself on buying Florrie! She has given you experiences that cheers you a lot! Be safe as you travel towards the cold north! All the best, Ant

That was a crazy week - the festival was brilliant but so noisy. No idea how anyone sleeps at all in the town. 😃
Yep we’re heading home now. We left the Costa Blanca coast on Monday. The scenery on the way home has been incredible but it’s getting a lot colder plus there’s been a lot of flooding in Normandy where we’re headed so just trying to plot a route
We’ve had an amazing experience. Hope you’re having a good week mate and that the North is getting lighter and warmer. 🙏👍
@NBNatureTrailvan Flooding again? Now that dampens the spirit a bit! Up here the sun is back in Tromsø, but the north will have snow for 3 more months 😂 Drive safely as you head home!

Seriously mate. The place was absolutely mad!! We just couldn’t believe it. Loved it despite all the noise, but how anyone sleeps in the town In the week is beyond me 🤣🤣
Hi, what day of the week was the market and did you book Bonterra in advance? It looks like it's in a great location.
Hiya Roy. Yes we booked through the CAMC back in July. We were told then that you had to book that early to guarantee a spot. It was totally full when we were there. Many people stay there for months. We met a lovely couple who live in France but stay on that site from November to March. We tried to book for next year at reception when we left but bookings don’t open until February.
Highly recommended- we can’t wait to go back.
The market was on the Sunday but as it was festival week, I’m not sure that’s always the case.
