It is so crowded, when is the best time to come so it would not be this crowded? When are less tourists there? Winter months?

I don't think there are many cold winters.
All year round, there are few people in the early morning and in the evening to night.
It gets crowded with tourists from noon to evening. ☺

凄い混雑！竹下通りみたい、観光客が着物着て参道を歩くのは楽しいのでしょうね。中には浴衣着て撮影しただけで連行されるおかしな国がある😔その国以外の方々は楽しんでいってください😄👍
