West Bengal: Police, Minister Barred From Entering Raj Bhavan As Governor Accused Of Molestation

In a statement, West Bengal Governor CV Ananda Bose prohibited police entry to the Raj Bhavan. Allegations of unauthorised and politically motivated inquiries during elections have prompted the move.
Such acts, according to the governor's office, are considered fraudulent and illegitimate. The statement stated that the Attorney General of India has been consulted regarding possible legal action against the Minister.
Acting on allegations that the governor had molested a Raj Bhavan employee sexually, Bose declared he would not be ""cowed down by engineered narratives"" and later refuted the charges.
