You are reacting to the best singer in the world and the best cure for depression. I am one of them. three years ago I was immersed in a depression due to professional and work issues, after a month of not wanting to talk to anyone, or leave the house, washing myself a couple of times a week, without shaving and sunk in dark thoughts, and one day I met Dimash and his version of S-O-S- and beyond the lyrics, his voice penetrated my whole body, I cried like never before, but my tears weren't from pain or sadness, it was like a shock, like an awakening, there was something in his voice that shook me and told me, fight against those negative thoughts, there is life out there and a family to love, don't lose hope. Here I am, very happy and involved in every forum that talks about this prodigy from Kazakhstan. Dimash will be known by the whole world and it is a task that we all "Dears" to him. Keep reacting to Dimash please, it's the best remedy for depression. You will find many Dears that wonderful things have happened to him with Dimash's voice. If it were possible for you to react to Dimash's song "War and Peace" th-cam.com/video/xl4COTUJO5w/w-d-xo.html. I subscribe to your channel. Greetings from Panama.

Try “Love is like a Dream”. Something special Just melts me at the knees no matter how often I hear it. And it’s not the high notes that do it. If you want a long note, he has an awesome long belt note at the end
Make sure to watch the version where he is wearing a burgundy velvet suit and it’s just him and Igor Krutoy (the famous Russian composer) at the piano.

      Dear Fatima,
Thank you for all your information about Dimash. May I kindly correct you? My point is not to correct you, but to make sure that there is not information about Dimash floating around that is simply not true.
Dimash "only" has a red belt in tae kwon do. That Dimash speaks Turkish is news to me, but I cannot judge that, but I know that Turkish and Kazakh belong to the same language family. On the other hand, he now speaks English and his English skills in particular have improved extremely in a short time. Your information about Dimash's shoulders confused me a little. So far I see only two shoulders with him, as with all other people usually.
      Much love from Switzerland

I would also like to add that the name and surname were incorrectly provided. I noticed that many people have already written to you about it, but nothing has been corrected. Dinmukhammed Kanatuly Kudaibergen is as reported on Wikipedia. (Kazakh: Дінмұхаммед Қанатұлы Құдайберген, Dınmūhammed Qanatūly Qūdaibergen) ,. And in one of the interviews he said that he almost reached the red belt. Of course, a lot depends on how the text is translated. In another interview, Dimash's mom said she received the $ 10,000 award and was translated into a million dollars. Who knows, maybe there were even fewer of these dollars, only each added one zero. I believe that you have good intentions, but you should gather information at the source and not duplicate data untrue. Some people even doubt that Dimash is 1.91 tall, because he was measured in shoes and with a teased hairstyle. It is not known whether this height was known at the time of measuring and they simply pretended to be measuring as it was, or whether the height of the heel and hairstyle was included in the height. Best wishes

@@kathrinphan To be even more precise, he said in the interview for National TV Qazaqstan ( th-cam.com/video/Bbr2fLKoppE/w-d-xo.html ) that he *almost* reached red belt in taekwondo, before he decided to stop (due to health issues that started to manifest, and due to time management, choosing to devote more time to music and not share the time available with taekwondo classes). I didn`t read anywhere either that he speaks turkish, I know turkish is listed among the languages in which he sang at some point, and I heard him say 'teşekkür' = 'thanks' in turkish, so he might know some, but I don`t know if he is as fluent as he is in kazakh and russian.
The "shoulders" thing, might have something to do with "octaves", and a really bad google-translation :)
And I could never understand why she keeps splitting his name is weird bits, like "Cody" "Barghan" etc., "God" in kazakh is 'Құдай' = 'Quday' ; 'берген' = 'bergen' = "given"
but this is probably the effect of a bad google-translation as well :))
Now, I see some question his height, due to shoes or hairstyle, to that I say that it is listed officially on IMDb as 1,91m. He is taller than a lot of people in the same room with him, in many group videos, like the behind-the-scenes video for the Bastau concert. He seemed so small and fragile on the huge stage, and then we got to see him backstage in a room with ~10 people, and he was taller than everyone (men and women) :) Shoes or no shoes, high hair or not, he must be around 1,91. Who cares in he`s 1,89, 1,91, or 1,93, when he`s the tallest guy in the room a lot of the time ? 😍😁

Thank you very much for your clarification with the red belt. Memo to me: I should increasingly double and triple check the information I pass on myself before I open my know-it-all mouth here.
I know google sometimes does very strange things when translating and I don't want it to come across as if I want to attack another Dear for her posts, it's just important to me that if you're going to spread things about Dimash, please stick to the facts and don't just blow some poorly researched praise into the net. He said "I almost had the red belt". The information I saw in many places was already "he has the red belt" Fatima ist now at "he has the black belt", maybe because there is a photo montage of Dimash in a very spectacular kick pose with a black belt floating around the net. It probably won't be long before someone claims "so he had the black belt and was trained by Jacky Chan". And at some point it's bound to be "he has the black belt and beat Bruce Lee himself - one-handed - blindfolded!!!".
Same thing with Dimash's multilingualism, his height (Dears, is his hight THAT important to you that you have to share it at every opportunity? Or his religion? What does that have to do with his singing ability, or the fact that he's just a totally nice guy off stage too?) and his riding skills - most likely based on a few seconds of moving footage on the net. I can understand that people adore Dimash and we as his Dears want to highlight as many positive qualities of him as possible. I too adore this man. Totally. He is f***ing awesome 🤩😍🤩😍🤩! But by spreading exaggerations, I think we are doing him more harm than good.
Lots of love from Switzerland 🤗🇨🇭

Love is Like A Dream is absolutely beautiful by Dimash. It too will be in Russian but it has beautiful words and subtitles. You will most certainly want to see Ave Maria by Dimash. Now it is not the one we all know. In fact, it is a version written by famous composer Igor Krutoy just for Dimash and it has no lyrics. Only his voice vocalizing and it is stunningly beautiful. It has left many many reactors in tears due only to the beauty of it.

Hi Amanda :) Glad to see a new reaction from you, to Dimash :) This song is 20 years old (belongs to kazakh band A`Studio) and this was a cover by Dimash. The interesting vocal trill he added towards the end was a mourning vocalize, a tribute to the lead singer of the band, who died of a heart attack in 2015, at age 52. Dimash appreciated him very much.
Since you mentioned Chester Bennington, I thought I would mention that Dimash sings the song "SOS" as a tribute and gentle goodbye to artists that lost their life young (including Chester Bennington), and on the stage screens roll images of them in Dimash`s concerts, during "SOS" : Freddie Mercury, Amy Winehouse, Whitney Houston, Gregory Lemarchal (a french singer who also covered SOS, singing with the voice of an angel even though he only had 20% lung capacity left because of cystic fibrosis which took his life at 23), and many many others.
He also sings it as a bit of philosophical pondering on the painful aspects of life, that sometimes make us want to "fly like a bird above it, hoping it would be more beautiful from up there" - and on the stage screens roll images of painful events, like : the burning of Notre Dame, forest fires, floods, pandemic, etc.
But somehow, he doesn`t make the song depressive, nor does he make other sad songs in his repertoire depressive, but only a balanced pondering on the sadder aspects of life, with the purpose of expression, comforting / healing. This is one of the reasons why I like his music, it never depresses me, even if the topic of the song is sad. I have long wished that quality art didn`t have a depressive, nihilistic side, and that I wouldn`t have to worry about the artist`s lifestyle, mental health etc. Dimash has a sane and clean lifestyle and he keeps himself grounded, which can be also perceived in his singing. His art is the only one that never leaves me melancholic, and my "science brain" and my "emotional brain" are very happy with that :))
Like you said, many people noticed the anti-depression effects of Dimash`s way of singing. Some would go further and say that it healed people of some ailments. I wouldn`t go that far, and Dimash himself, when told that, he said that he most certainly doesn`t have any "healing powers" 😄But that he is happy if people feel good in any way listening to his music :)
But he does inspire people to do things a bit better in their lives, due to his own healthy, sane life, and his seriousness about excellence.
[ a nice example of someone inspired by him : Rae Ward, a 63 year old woman from New Zealand with stage 4 kidney cancer, that after hearing Dimash, and becoming a fan, she worked to become more mobile and go attend one of his concerts. She got out of bed and swam 50 km in 4 months, as a 63 yo lady, to feel able to travel all the way to China to attend a concert of Dimash. She later travelled to his home country, Kazakhstan, and she got to meet Dimash in person, and he invited her to his house, where she spent the day with him and his family, and exchanged gifts with them. Dimash said that she is now like a part of his family, and she is always welcome in his house. She has better lab results now, and was at some point classified as a cancer survivor. Video footage of her story : th-cam.com/video/Qd4xFEaV8MQ/w-d-xo.html ] This is one of the stories regarding Dimash and his fans that is very close to magical. But aside from some examples like this one, one of the main benefits of being a fan of Dimash, is the sense of family, community, that fans have amongst themselves, and with Dimash and his family. He brings his family with him at his concerts, sometimes even his grandmothers, and his family sits with the crowd, and they are sweet and normal and loving towards the fans, and the fans towards them :)
Sorry for the long post, I thought I`d share a bit of details more on the health side, aside from the usual technical details about his voice that people talk about a lot :)

Listening to your journey led me to thinking about Dimash’s voice and the therapeutic element it is purported to have on many people. I have often commented on Dimash’s ability to convey deep emotions through his voice (even when language barriers exist, Dimash seems able to impart the feeling vocally). From the videos I’ve seen and the articles I’ve read, Dimash is a very focused human being (obviously talented!), who has a deep sense of connection with the simple things in life: family, faith, beauty, children, friendships, and respect. (Not saying these are the only things he values, but they seem to be recurrent.). Dimash is often introspective, but he seems genuinely like a happy person - despite some pretty devastating losses along the way. Your perspective has made me wonder if it is Dimash’s innate sense of connectivity that allows him to stay positive and also allows him to be such a powerful vocal/musical storyteller? Some interesting food for thought…. (I’m interested what your thoughts would be on Dimash’s interpretation of Mademoiselle Hyde - another adaptation of a Lara Fabian/Igor Krutoy collaboration - in English this time!). Cheers from Canada‘s capital!

The lyrics are in my opinion not a reliably accurate translation.. I've seen a few different ones. I still don't comprehend the power and beauty and intelligence contained in this performance, after many many viewings, it's still flabbergasts me! There are two other performances of this song you might want to watch, one is from his Arnau Kinetic Voice concert in Kazakhstan, more rocky, and another is at Moscow, very sensual and smoldering..

👉Dimash's deep and gentle voice... I melt away. What a wonderful song, wonderfully sung by Dimash. Did you hold your breath? 🤣 The final run was 23 seconds with one breath. 👏👏👏
The glottal - stops is a throat singing technique called "bleating" used by the indigenous peoples of the Far East - another example: Diana Ankudinova - th-cam.com/video/EmMxOv5MtyE/w-d-xo.html
Dimash sings here as a guest on the New Wave 2018 (international competition). Igor Krutoy, the man in the white shirt at the end, a famous Russian composer, music titan and initiator of the New Wave had invited him. Now, both are a "Dreamteam" and work together from time to time. They are friends, have a father-son-relationship.
... and of course Dimash donates the many flowers to hospitals and retirement homes.
The band that Dimash accompanies at this performance called A’Studio, who composed and performed “Sinful Passion” in 1998. The band is also from Kazakhstan (Dimash's homeland) and this Dimash performance has revived the song.

And just like Dimash does Em also have songs that building you up. In this song Dimash did hold the note for 24 sec and that is a record. Also fun to know is that Dimash can sing extreme high. In this song it was high but he also can sing higher.

Dimash is just… well, there are some singers that seem to have a type of almost superhuman voice. Such as Chris Cornell- so much range and power. But then there’s Dimash, and it’s like he’s… not even human at all. A mind-blowing nearly alien life-form with vocal abilities that are just out of this world. But to touch on the other portion of your video, I have to say I admire you for so openly discussing your various mental-health struggles in life. Since such issues have always been relegated to the fringes or swept under the rug. And of course by talking about these things we can begin to actually address, understand and work to solve them.

This was another very enjoyable reaction. This was his 2018 guest performance at the New Wave competition held annually since 2002 at the New Wave Hall in Sochi Olympic Park. FYI, Dimash did not win “The Voice” in China. He took part in an invite-only Chineses competition for established professional and successful singers in 2017 called “I Am A Singer”.The competition consists of 14 rounds, lasts almost 4 months, and competitors are eliminated throughout the season. Every performance is live, and no lip-syncing or auto-tune is permitted. Pure unadulterated vocal ability only. Dimash finished the competition in 2nd place.
The band A-Studio is originally from Kazakhstan. The keyboard player, Baigali Serkebaev, composed the song together with the poet Ilia Reznik, and the song was first performed in 1998. The singer of the group A-Studio passed away in 2015, and in this concert, the group was backing up guest vocalists. The triangle man is multi-percussionist Ilya Pokrovsky, a very talented man and a close friend of Dimash and member of the Dimash team (DQ Team). He plays various percussion instruments and accompanies Dimash in all his concerts.
Someone explained that the special tribal riff is something practiced in Kazakhstan, Mongolia, and other parts of Asia. A similar technique is also used in some parts of the Middle East. It is referred to by some as a "glottal stop". We use it too when we say "uh oh". A Kazakh TH-camr commented that Dimash used a Kazakh singing technique, called 'komeymen aytu'. You can hear it among the Turan Group. Sakha people use this technique too; they call it 'kylyhah'. I read somewhere that the tribal vocalization was a tribute to the deceased singer, as it is similar to a technique usually used by women in Kazakh funeral ceremonies. The final run is 21.73 seconds on one breath.
This competition was organized by the man in the white shirt who stood up in the first row, Billionaire Igor Krutoy, a famous Ukrainian and Russian music composer, performer, producer, and musical promoter. He invited Dimash to perform and it was this performance that prompted him to come out of retirement and compose masterpieces for Dimash to sing, such as I Miss You, Ogni Pietra, Your Love, Stranger, and Ave Maria, just to name a few. Since this concert, he has been collaborating with Dimash, writing music with his vocal range in mind, and often accompanying him on the piano. So you'll see more of him.
There is another performance of this song of one of his more recent concerts. It is as good or better because you can hear certain parts clearer and the camera stays on him most of the time. Here is the link, in case you want to watch it. He is consistently perfect. th-cam.com/video/BJdR5aHzCaM/w-d-xo.html

Wow, love your reaction and comments, and I wish you all the best! And I hope for more Dimash! For he is indeed unique and has healing powers - not intentionally or consciously of course, but just with his pure beauty (in voice and mind and personality and everything around) he makes people happy, their life brighter, he transmits love, joy and happiness and a lot of positivity. There are psychiatrists in the Arab region (I think it was Lebanon/Jordan) who harness the positive power of Dimash's voice and who work with his music in their treatment because of Dimash's effect on mentally ill patients. Why should he not have this effect on sick people when he also has it on healthy people? ;-)) Dimash definitely makes my life more relaxed, happier, more inspired and joyful, grateful, and he makes me want to be a better person, more loving with people around me. Nobody else ever had this effect on me. I'm so so grateful that I discovered Dimash! Thank you for reacting to him!

Hi Suicide Survivor, I'm not so much a survivor of suicide but I was close. You see I am a combat soldier who survived things that most people can not understand. I finally found mental health through group therapy with fellow soldiers. You see it is impossible to describe the impossible (war) to people who have never been there. I am much older than you but I share your passion for Dimash. Yes he is not singing in French now but Russian, a language that I do understand, strangely Russian is a language of passion.

The band named A'Studio that accompanies Dimash, is the same one that composed the song minus the lead singer named Batyrkhan Shukenov, who died of a heart attack in 2015. The song was originally performed in 1998 and the lyrics are by the poet Ilia Reznik together with Baigaly Serkebayev, (the keyboardist with long hair, which we see in the video accompanying Dimash.) The tones in the middle are oriental Arab technique (or traditional qazaq singing, called Joqtaw. It is a lament to the deceased singer). The last run is 24 seconds on 1 breath.

Aw. I can see how you might have taken one particular perception back then. It strikes me from your richly expressive face indicates deep empathy which can leave one vulnerable to negative people. Your jaw drops are exquisitely beautiful. You are excusitely physically beautiful. Model like. So it's about a wider perception lens.. Dimash varies his tonal vocalisation with such diversity as more songs from him will show you. Yer pink headphones are so cute 😻. Build a strong discernment particularly on saying no i can not at thid time when yes is not in service of you. & that judgement is absolutely an illusionary interpretation masquerading as fact.. Who matters is the focus problem. The answers is that you must matter the most to you not from what you THINK it comes from how you FEEL into words not from reaction but from love within you from you to you, not identity labels but your joy. You are becoming a powerful inspirational impacting healing mentor. So i hope you realise how beautiful all round you are. You have probably realised this.. So step into your extraordinariness.. There is more to come from your source between TH-cam, and other stuff to reveal itself. Nourish it will ya 💛💪💃💪👏😀🔥 that's whatbmy heart calls me to tell youm yellow is such an uplifting tee shirt coloyr. Thank god you heard the call from your heart to step away from the hurt you had resigned to you at the ledge. You just needed to go deeper to reconnect with ot because so much crap was thrown at you. Your value to others is majestically flowering. Be kind to ypuvso you can do more

Most of the time (if it's not in English, French, Italian) I have no idea what he's singing... I still frequently have to dab at my eyes throughout the performance. The intensity of the emotions that he portrays are so entirely understandable... ( rather like your astonishment!) 😄
