I remember growing up in New Zealand with these. Weirdly in New Zealand, the original series 1 was called Garbage Pail Kids, but series 2 they changed the name to ''The Garbage Gang'' and the stickers were now the full rectangle sticker rather than the die cut shaped sticker on the original Garbage Pail Kids run. I do remember them being immensely popular when I was at primary school in 1986 for a couple of years
