When doing large amounts im a big fan of using two buckets, 1 smaller so it fits inside the other bucket. Drill holes in the smaller so when you twist it around the gold foils fall into larger bucket, with this way it seperate the foils and boards by itself Oh and good work as always
yes the 2 bucket system is the best for the AP method..I also keep a separate wash bottle for the AP also..just use the same wash water over and over again.it keeps your volume of AP minimal as it doesn't take long to build up.

The water is plain tap water I use watee to dilute the acidity The purpose of adding sodium carbonate before melting is to hold the gold powder together! If you try to melt the gold directly with the blowtorch the gold will blow away! I just add sulphuric acid for quick reaction! Thanks!
