We have rarely missed on transfers in the Klopp era. 4 or 5 at the most. We scout thoroughly and have excellent medical and fysio teams.

Because the good young players aren’t ready this year and the downside risk of sighing someone for 11mil is minimal.

He has missed 27 games from 6th october 2022 to now, he missed 57 in 21/22, 45 of those with cruciate ligament tear.
27 matches out of 111 (91Juve + 20 Italy *) is about 75% availability. So not all bad. (* I manually counted parts of the matches, might have miscounted slightly).
Chiesa is a good player Liverpool don’t need. Liverpool’s attack is already one of the best. We have a weakness in midfield because we don’t have an athletic DM meaning Liverpool get overrun in midfield, but we have no depth at left back or defence. All Liverpool’s bad seasons have been caused by the owners trying to coast after we win something by under-investing the following season. They have learned nothing and still have that American franchise mentality when owners coast to maximise their profits.
ACL injury has finished him as a winger. Lost his electric pace. Spend the 12 million on helping to keep Salah!

If he can be that player who comes on in the 70th minuet for salah it’s a no brainier salah needs to be managed properly and not play every minuet of every game that’s why he drops off back end of season
