You may already know this, but its a good idea to let your preceptor/charge nurse/and or manager know you’re pregnant early on because there are some medications that you should not handle during pregnancy, and some lifting/assisting that you should get help with or avoid if possible. My first pregnancy I had zero clue. I worked with a young Momma at a daycare...she bumped my boobs with a cot. It was excruciating! She was like, you pregnant??? I was adamant...no way! I craved chocolate cake...my hubby was asking same thing. I am not a chocolate lover... and I was EXHAUSTED. I usually have tons of energy. Congrats, beautiful!!!

You're little nugget (or nuggets) are going to be so loved. Everything you mentioned was similar for me. The first thing I noticed was my hips got wider. One strange thing I hadn't heard be talked about much, but was considered a thing, is how thick the skin on your lower back gets or feels. It's weird, kind of leathery, but for me it was the last trimester and then it went away after birth. I wish you two the best. Yeeey!, haha.

Two years ago I broke a relationship off because my ex partner didn’t want a family or to get married. My first pregnancy I had zero clue. I worked with a young Momma at a daycare...she bumped my boobs with a cot. It was excruciating! She was like, you pregnant??? I was adamant...no way! I craved chocolate cake...my hubby was asking same thing. I am not a chocolate lover... and I was EXHAUSTED. I usually have tons of energy. Congrats, beautiful!!!

Everything you mentioned was similar for me. The first thing I noticed was my hips got wider. One strange thing I hadn't heard be talked about much, but was considered a thing, is how thick the skin on your lower back gets or feels. It's weird, kind of leathery, but for me it was the last trimester and then it went away after birth.
