- This was a request from a subscriber through email asking me to do this technique.
I chose to do mine in earth tones, so for my base colors I chose two Istoyo mica colors in chocolate and coffee and two mica colors from Lets Resin in chocolate and brown.
I am using the Istoyo 1:1 resin and the Istoyo UV resin for this project.
after the base colors are cured, I put the UV resin on each coaster and with the water and dishsoap mix, with a straw I blow bubbles and then pick those bubbles up and put them on the wet UV resin and then cure it under the UV lamp for about a minute. once this is complete for all four coasters, I choose for color shift mica powders, Lets resin-saddle brown, Sienna and champagne and the Baltic Day, brush these on all four coasters and then top coat with more Istoyo 1:1 resin. #resin #resinart

After now more than 10 minutes I'm still waiting for action - but hanging on in suspense, as I have to see it with the many positive comments on the result 😂
Hopefully you weren't disappointed🥰
Yeah, no offense but that was a long introduction
My favorite is the bluish/greenish one (same as you) I didn’t realize we can put in requests. Can I request that you organize my craft room? Ha!💕
Dian, lol but yes you can request me to make stuff anytime🥰
Mine too. 😂
Love them, lovely bubbly appearance. Cool colours 👌
Thank you Juls🥰
Beautiful
Thank you🥰
They came out great
Thank you🥰
Hi Mary, I was watching your video, as I always do, when you were blowing the bubbles nade me wonder about using a Bubble pipe, not even sure they make them anymore. But I bet one could be used to drop bubbles on the coaster, BTW big fans here.
That's a thought. Im also wondering if the bubble mix you buy for those bubble things, if the bubbles wouldn't pop so fast like dishsoap.
Absolutely Stunning!’
Thank you😊
Beautiful! Love that technique
Thank you Sierra🥰
Great! Thanks for sharing!❤
Thank you Jo🥰
Hi love this technique 😍 iv had go with it too, thanks for sharing ❤❤❤ xxx
Thank you Michelle🥰
Thanks for this they all look really good, I was just thinking about this technique and was going to search for videos and yours popped up.
Thank you and your welcome🥰
Big bubbles make bigger scales..small ones will make them smaller..I like the mix of sizes..did this on a tumbler once when they 1st started doing it..Pretty neat..
Thank you it is a very cool technique, just wish I knew who created it🥰
😊👍🏻👏🏻
Thank you Laura🥰
Very pretty! I love the one that looks blue. Great job!
Thank you Rita🥰
Love them all !! But I think my favorite is the blue/ green one. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you Linda, its my favorite too. 🥰
I guess I need to send rousing thanks to Shauna! 🎉
Thank you Lisa🥰
I love the Purple on the lower right! It's my favorite! I wish I had the space to do pieces like this. I have small bottles of UV resin. But I don't have non-UV. I don't have the space to work on anything that has to sit out overnight to cure.. Any resin I do has to fit on a tv tray next to my bed when I'm working on it.
Im sorry😔 I dislike that for you. Maybe something will change soon🤞🏻thank you🥰
My favorite is the sienna/blueish one. What a neat idea, I love dragons.😊
Thank you Carolyn, mine too🥰❤
Just a little FYI to clear up confusion. RAM (random access memory) is memory. Hard drive space is not memory. It’s data storage.
Lovely chameleon colors ,beautiful b7bbles effects 😍💜
Thank you🥰
Those were really nice. The first one was my favorite. Just my 1 cent
Thank you🥰 as always your 1 cent is appreciated.
Loved it. Looks like pebbles in a stream
Thank you Candi🥰
I love the blueish brownish green one as well because of this video I’m going to buy a set of istoyo mica powders
Thanks for yet another quality video❤
Thank you Jaqueline🥰
I love the earthy tones you picked for the base. The first one that's bluish is my favorite, all look cool.
This is the bubble technique. The dragon scale/crackle technique is with mica(s), clear, and/or translucent resin. That's why I was confused when I watched her video, I thought I was going to watch the dragon scale/crackle technique which is one of my favorite styles.
Thank you Coral🥰 I was confused to but I never know, things change so quickly with resin these days😂🥰
❤❤
Thank you Barbara🥰
Hi Mary. I use to do the bubble technique on my nails! lol! Looks pretty cool!!
Tracy, I bet that was hard to do on such tiny spaces. But I bet it did look awesome🥰
A lot smaller bubbles and with gel polish but the exact same technique. Never thought about doing it with resin. Until now! Thanks 💖💖💖
D&A resin also did the bubble technique last week, wonder if she got the same email...i enjoy watching each creator doing the same technique and how you put your own spin on them
Helen, Im behind on watching videos, I need to go watch hers. But I do to, I think we all have a different ideas.🥰
@@resinmeup oh for sure all of you have done them different
Mary these are so cool. How long do you put the UV resin light on the bubbles? Thanks for sharing.
Carolyn thank you, about a minute, but you can go less because it would make the UV stickier for the mica, and then after you get the mica on, you can zap it again. Hope this helps🥰
How long did you cure with the UV lite? These looks really great, thanks for sharing.
Thank you Tricia, about a minute.🥰
Hi Mary. I never get tired of this technique. I use it in different pieces i make to add some texture.
I love love champagne frim lets resin. Mary, what state are you in?
Thank you🥰 Im in Kansas.
Lol....too funny😂😂 It's cool to see how everyone does things! So I wonder what would you get if you poured the 1st layer in holographic and then the holographic on top of the uv cured bubbles? Or spreading the holographic down before the bubbles(might be messy) and the curing the bubbles and see what you get?
Beverly, that's a thought, I have another idea to that I want to try with this as well.🥰
They look cobblestone, do t even have a floral hint like themold with that finish.
Its the bubble technique, you can do it on any mold shape😊
Could you put the power down first?
Power? Not sure I understand your question.
Как же долго.... 😴
🤔

Thank you😊
