      Dusan Ignjatov bushels are a unit of volume so weight varies. For soybeans it would be about 10600kg

    You guys always have such great weather? I watch other videos upwards to the north and to Alberta canada check them out they have shyt conditions and struggle with getting
    there crops off the fields and this year they still have crops in the fields that they can't get out??????

      I enjoy watching the Canadian farming videos. It sure has been a rough year in the North. It had been extremely dry fall here. There was only one rain out day in corn and one in beans. Everything moved fast this year.

    approximately 10,636 kg or 23,400lbs based on a 60 lb wheat bushel, l don't know what a bushel of beans weighs. Oats are 32lbs per bushel.

    Bigtractorpower man, do you know that Kevin Bein passed away last month? You interviewed him earlier this year. Seemed like a cool guy...

      It was very sad when Kevin passed away in June. He had such a passion and enthusiasm for Gleaner. It was an honor to interview him for Big Tractor Power during the introduction of the S9 combine.

    Beautiful combine, even though our family uses John Deere for combines.

      Gleaner makes a very nice combine. Of all the machines I film and I see all the brands in my observation Gleaner has the least loss and cleanest sample.

    What combine has the lowest grain loss out the back of the combine in high yielding corn and soybeans, Gleaner, John Deere or Case?

    • @bigtractorpower
      @bigtractorpower  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +Ricky Ivey I film all the brands. Gleaner does the best job.

      Our coop says we bring in the cleanest beans. When set correctly, any combine can compete in the grain loss category but I'll be partial to Gleaner since we switched from a JD9650 years ago and have been running Gleaners ever since.

      I cut with a farmer his fall, he had a 680 deere with a 35 ft. macdon, I had a s88 and a 40 ft. dynaflex, the Gleaner cut circles around him in tough conditions, easy cutting he still couldn't keep up.

      @@Shane-lb8iz That's interesting, our neighbors runs 2 like Deeres and I've never seen so much loss in a bean field. Perhaps they're just a bit too big a hurry. I've made that mistake combining before reliable loss monitors.
