Your TBM (temporary bench mark). Iam pleased you can still obtain bull-head rail. Tfl (and indeed, BR) kept to it for years as Vignoles was unsuitable in tunnels.
Those boys on the permanent way team are working really hard to get the track completed and I hope that they will get the track ready for the spring gala
I think its both. The junction assembly was nearing the end of its life span, and the new points were relocated off the bridge to the north for safer operation
Absolute nonsense. It takes a lot of money to run a large heritage railway so appeals for funds are part of the package. The SVR is a railway enthusiasts mecca, I get an enormous amount of inspiration for my railway modelling activities from the SVR.
@@billeaton1970 Glad you enjoy yourself, all the power to you. As a Highley local that has supported the railway all my life, I am entitled to my opinion. Especially when shareholders have been given a raw deal.
The 'permanent way' teams always work so hard. To paraphrase the old song "That's the sound of a man working on the railway." :)
Track work! My absolute favorite...said no railroad volunteer anywhere, ever. But, as he said, no tracks no trains.
We”ll be there for the Spring Steam Gala Filming at Kidderminster, Bewdley, Arley, Highley & hopefully Bridgnorth can’t wait to return to SVR
Thank you so much for the work you do on preserving this national treasure. See you at the autumn steam gala
Smashing job I love Severn Valley Railway👍
Very hard work !!!... and very profesionally presented...thank you !
Dads "Orange" army hard at it. Well done guys.😄👍
I’ll be there next month just in time for the spring steam gala

Severn Valley Railway project on the march in March - a Bridgnorth Yard Update love louis shirley
So what are they actually doing? Just simply replacing what was there or adding in something for better operations?

@@johnwoodhouse3369 thank you.
What would we do without the good people who work towards looking after the tracks of the railway.
Will trains be able to run the full line from Kidderminster to bridgnorth I've got tickets booked for April keep up the good work guys 😉
🇬🇧🙂👍🇺🇸
Always with the begging bowl and doing less and less for the enthusiast. SVR is basically alton towers with trains now

@@Solaaris1 I am a shareholder , have been for many years. I bought my shares to support the railway, not to get a free ride.
@Bill Eaton So have I. I'm not a freeloading photographer that stands lineside on gala days and doesn't support the railway financially
@@Solaaris1 I really don't understand why you mentioned photography as I didn't raise it. I don't even own a camera.
