Some Christian books I recommend!! 1. "The Best of You" by Allison Cook -- Allison Cook is a christian psychologist! It's an absolutely wonderful book and covers themes like self-awareness, emotional intelligence, and resilience, and she offers biblical tools for overcoming obstacles and fostering positive mindsets. The book includes personal stories from her clients and actionable strategies, Dr. Cook encourages readers to set healthy boundaries, build meaningful relationships, and live authentically!! 2. "Unraveled" by Deanna Loren -- I don't even know where to start!! Such a blessed book, the book is written like a love letter from God. The book helps you to navigate through their your struggles and confront past traumas. God's voice is so gentle and He's breaking the narratives and stories we hold about Him that are from from who He is!!! I can't recommend this book enough!

I cannot for the life of me, read non-fiction. But JHP writes in a way that is so captivating. Books don’t make me cry, but this one has 😅. I’m not finished it yet, but I definitely recommend it!

It’s like I really want to let Him in but in today’s society my uncertainty sometimes, perhaps to get another perspective on how it will feel. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND *"I WAS BLIND (DATING) BUT NOW I SEE" by Stephanie Rische* especially for single ladies who struggle with their walk with the Lord in terms of their singleness era . The first time I saw it on shelf in a second-hand bookstore, I was hesitating but I heard the whisper of the Holy Spirit and so... I bought it. Then I wasnt even expecting anything from it, I read it without any single idea nor expectation to it... But I came out od it with a rating of 5/5 stars! In my opinion, this book really helped me through my walk with the LORD and shifted my perspective in terms of "being a single" and why patience (in asking for a romantic partner) truly matters in our faith journey with God. But I think, the best reason why God gave this book to me is because of how wise, funny, and relatable Stephanie was... And it felt like I gained a friend in her writings, a friend that reminds me that I'm not alone with this journey, and that I'm not the only one who feel this specific feeling of loneliness with my walk with the LORD. ❤❤❤ Do read it.

I've heard a lot of good things about Mere Christianity. The only thing I've read of CS Lewis is The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe series which is fictional but Aslan’s sacrifice was actually based off of Our Lord Jesus’ sacrifice for us. I have the ebook of The Screwtape Letters and I'm looking forward to reading that too.

Battlefield of the mind - by Joyce Myers. Help me so much deal with my thoughts and how I can control them. where I need to place my thoughts. And it actually taught me to truly take captive of my thoughts and put them into the obedience of Christ like God word teaches us to. It taught me the consequences of my thoughts, how to take responsibility for my thoughts, how not to believe everything I think. Besides the Bible, that’s the best book I’ve ever read.
Suggestions: 1. Navigating the wilderness and isolation season. And really how to come out of it or when to know if God has freed you to come out of it🤔 (I say that because I have been in isolation for quite some time, had to let go of bad friends and now find it difficult to let anyone into my space or to trust anyone for that manner - although I don’t see it as a problem (I think it links up with your previous video. 2. Stepping out in faith. 3. Understanding your personality through God’s lenses and acceptance? 4. In general I would also like to hear more of your story and how you really transformed into who you are now in detail (letting go of friendships, backlash, temptations, breakups and learnings).

I've only read The Purpose Driven Life and it's amazing!! So simple and easy to read and get into the bible with. But with the other ones, you did a great job at analyzing and describing them because I am definitely intrigued now lol

I think for any believer struggling with sin or living a lukewarm life, for me this is the book that’ll help you go all in with your relationship with Jesus. 🔥

I will pray for you this week Margo! By the blood of Jesus you have been set free, free of the power of sin. What helped me a lot was opening up to God about it fully! When you're about to do something you know isn't good for you: tell God. It's like opening the door to a dark room. Sin has no power when you let the light in! When God already knows, how can the enemy hold it against you? It will feel very strange to do at first, but only the holy spirit can help you overcome sin. Let him in, and ask for his help. You won't get out of it in your own strength. 2 Corinthians 12:9 🤍 In Jesus name I rebuke the enemy with his schemes over your mind right now!! Amen

I have almost finished reading ‘God has a name’ book and i really really recommend to read it. It is such an eyeopening book and it helps me connect with YAHWEH, our GOD in heaven in much much deeper level!!!

I read the book Boundaries by Dr. Henry Cloud and John Townsend. I read it and resonated with it so much due to its many biblical references. After that I went right to the source and started reading the Bible. A lot of things brought me closer to Christ. This book is one of them. ❤

I also read “searching for Christmas” by J D Greear which is a very short but dives deep into the names of God in Isaiah 9:6 and honestly would be a great read even if it’s not Christmas time.

I've only read The Purpose Driven Life and it's amazing!! So simple and easy to read and get into the bible with. But with the other ones, you did a great job at analyzing and describing them because I am definitely intrigued now lol

I love this, I've been wanting to see this kind of video and here I am, I really wanna read books but for the past few years most of my books are secular books. This really helps me and I'm pretty sure for teenagers like me who are out there, please continue to do this on upcoming days...
I love Christian books it definitely helps to learn about God, but the Bible is definitely in the top! Thank you for the recommendations! I recommend Jerry Bridges books such as The Pursuit of Holiness and The Practice of Godliness.

I think I’m gonna have to add Mere Christianity to my line up! I’m still working through some that I have here but I’d also like to recommend one to you. It’s “The Awe of God” by John Bevere. I think for any believer struggling with sin or living a lukewarm life, for me this is the book that’ll help you go all in with your relationship with Jesus. 🔥

I’m not sure if you’ve heard of Francine Rivers, she’s a Christian fiction author. Her book Redeeming Love is soooo good. It’s based off the book of Hosea. I was bawling at the end. I will pray for you this week Margo! By the blood of Jesus you have been set free, free of the power of sin. What helped me a lot was opening up to God about it fully! When you're about to do something you know isn't good for you: tell God. It's like opening the door to a dark room. Sin has no power when you let the light in! When God already knows, how can the enemy hold it against you? It will feel very strange to do at first, but only the holy spirit can help you overcome sin. Let him in, and ask for his help. You won't get out of it in your own strength. 2 Corinthians 12:9 🤍 In Jesus name I rebuke the enemy with his schemes over your mind right now!! Amen

I have different versions! Love having different Bibles with different translations. I use primarily NIV, CSB and NLT ❤

I have almost finished reading ‘God has a name’ book and i really really recommend to read it. It is such an eyeopening book and it helps me connect with YAHWEH, our GOD in heaven in much much deeper level!!!

I appreiate your obedience to the Lord and the way He has used it for His glory and the good of His children in their walk of faith. I would be intrested in a faith talks with a topic on making friends/building relationships with other sisters in Christ. If I'm being honest I find it hard to socialize with new ppl, so its been something I'd pray about. If you have any wisdom the Lord has given you or is currently showing you around building the character of being a good friend or how to maintain friendships I would love to hear about it.

I read the book Boundaries by Dr. Henry Cloud and John Townsend. I read it and resonated with it so much due to its many biblical references. After that I went right to the source and started reading the Bible. A lot of things brought me closer to Christ. This book is one of them. ❤

I wanted to add another book reco by Joyce Meyer called Habits of a godly woman.
Love your content Deborah especially your vlogs, it has helped me so much in my walk with Christ just by watching a fellow sister in Christ living out her faith.🩷Also I have a few book recs! “John 3:16 the numbers of hope” by Max Lucado I loved it really dove deep into each word in that verse and explained it very well. I also read “searching for Christmas” by J D Greear which is a very short but dives deep into the names of God in Isaiah 9:6 and honestly would be a great read even if it’s not Christmas time.
