hi, short question: i am going to südtirol in a week and the snow report says there wont be any snow until then. are the resorts currently in a good condition or is it more like a... if you want it you can do it situation? :D

Yeah, I realized that, but we recently also gut 130cm of fresh powder. I posted a video crushing powder with my friends on my channel if you're interested :)
I understand that others are getting bored from the consecutive days of POV skiing and slow motion shots from team overkill. But I understand that this is Jon's life and he can't simply just fake to do something for the convenience of everyone. This is his passion and it's in his blood to ski. He is not forcing us to watch every vlog he uploaded but let us consider watching his vlog as a privilege to have a peek of his awesome life 😊👌🏻

Love seeing Jon smile with pure joy and excitement... to be able to watch someone experience something for the first time that brings them pure joy is fun and exciting.. you can't help but smile with him... this is someone that has been restricted from doing what he loves because of an injury... I've never skied a day in my life and I have enjoyed these vlogs even if they are skiing all day...this is what his passion is... enjoy this epic journey you and Marcus are on... keep up the great work guys!!!
Ofc not bored of skiing powder but i think we all want to see some more of the terrain like hakuba landscape and i think its more enjoyable if you use your helmets go pro while skiing bro!

I don't understand how this channel doesn't have a few million subs already, I loved this video, pure powder for 10 minutes. I LOVED IT! And it gave butterflies in my stomach and made me wanna go on my skis right now!

I love these skiing vlogs! At first they were kinda boring, in Canada, but now when the passion comes through they're just amazing. I saw the comment about JP Auclair and got to watch Bjarnes tribute to him and Andreas, it was so beautiful and gave such an insight into the skiing world. I do miss Janni, and it would had been so much fun seeing her skiing, but she seems really busy now! But try to get her skiing before the season is over!
I grew up skiing in Sälen (but living in Stockholm), we used to bring our caravan up there every winter and return to it a couple of weeks each season. It's a special feeling going out to the dry toilet (dass in swedish....) in -20 degrees and pitch black as a child! I never wanted to be a pro-skier but I did love just riding, still do, and can so relate to Jon's stories of blueberry picking!

I liked when Jon was filming Marcus while skiing. Then you could get a perspectiv of how the slope is!
Man I miss the old vlogs with Marcus! Crazy how Jon has to execute careful mouth open-mouth closed breathing due to the deep powder flying up against his face as he skis!
Same here, I recently started watching the old Vlogs again and Marcus was ahead of his time on editing. I feel like a lot of TH-camrs copied his style after the Vlogs got really popular. I really wish if Jon and Marcus can work together again. Like Marcus would be there for winter ski edit season and Benni is there for the summer vacation edits.

Helmet cam view is much cooler than the one with selfiestick, it get's boring very fast.

Had to laugh so hard when Markus jumped down that little cliff by accident and Jon almost dropped on his head. I'm a snowboarder by heart but love how much fun you guys have! Shredding Japanese powder is def on my bucket list now! Keep on having fun!

as this is such a rare thing to have so much snow i would repeat it just change the way you are filming it a litle less first person (wich i like it) and more like a long shot (it is not easy as there are many trees and Marcus probably will be able to film 3/5") so just an idea I vote for more ski but try to film different so will not be monoton

This is so cool! I skied a couple days at Niseko Mountain in Hokkaido when I lived in Japan. The snow was similar to this -- just super light and falling consistently!
Next time drive with the Lambo to Japan and test if you can drive through the snow with it 😄

More powder!
I have only skied close to this deep once, but only one very short run. Roughly 30" in 24 hours on Red Mountain Pass in Colorado about 10-12 years ago. Avy danger way too high to go and ski anything higher up.
For anyone who is not a skier or hasn't skied really deep powder each run is like the best sex of your life x20. It's almost spiritual. No joke. Cannot be compared really to anything else.
Stay in Japan until the snow stops Jon. You are one of the lucky few with that option.

Footage of Marcus skiing and going neck deep in snow had me in stitches! Haha! Love these vlogs, they just beam positivity and personality. It's so refreshing to see someone truely do what they love doing and surrounding them with great people without attracting controversy and drama. Dunno about that Bieber shirt though lol.
