Do you have a beginners guide to Ascension? I’ve played WOW a lot and I’m curious about Ascension. In this video you explained the basics of stuff that would be familiar to a WOW player - crafting, dungeons, raids. But you glossed over all the unfamiliar stuff, prestige points, seasons, scroll farming and various currencies. Would be good to have a video on how Ascension is different from WOW.
That's a great question, I thought about making a beginner's guide multiple times but as I said down and started making it I realized that without touching on each subject with only surface level information the video would become disturbing long. Even if I covered with just a few sentences it would end being 40-50 minutes at *least*, and I think the video would spawn more questions than it would really answer. Instead, I've started a series of Beginner Guides aimed at teaching players new to both ascension and WoW about the game, where each video gets to have more depth and information put into it. This was just the first one, I plan on having a video out today all about the Prestiging system, and then a video about stats. I'll add a "how is ascension wow different to retail?" Video where I explain the base mechanics of the server. Thanks for the comment!
thanks for the vid! question for ya. What's the best way to get out of a crappy build? random rolls keep giving me stuff all over the board! also, is it worth it to do form builds before you have all the necessary cards, or is there an easiest to acheive decent build?

Now I’m almost level 60, and trying to get all abilities that could be good for that talent, but I’m not rolling anything near this talent. Is it just RNG from here, or is there something I could be doing to improve me chances? Thanks in advance.
I'm brand new to both Ascension and wow overall and from what I can figure out, the more you prestige the toon, the more focused and easier the final build will be to make. In essence you need to max level to finalize your build.
I'm sorry that this question slipped through the cracks brother, real life has been hectic lately and I had to put TH-cam to the side. It's mostly RNG, but there's a lot of things you can do to help yourself with the process. I have a rolling video coming soon as a general guide, but I'll say Prestiging and collecting cards does help define the build a little more.

If you're an especially big fan of PVP it's definitely a good way to level, with such a large of concentration of players you're likely to run into an aura of experience as well, which definitely makes things faster. I'd say it's up to personal enjoyment, I don't get a lot out of PVP myself so I tend to avoid battlegrounds. If you plan on prestiging a ton I recommend getting some heirlooms to expedite the process. They can be found in Chromie's Shop and in the DP shop in the launcher. I may make a video on prestiging as it's own standalone topic, so stay tuned for that.
I have been a casual WoW player since the end of Vanilla. I have downloaded Ascension and I have to be honest it is a little intimidating. Understand I have only just created a brand noob character with no real play time yet. Where should I start?
Well it's really up to how you view the game, whether you want to be the most efficient you can be, or whether you just want to play however you want. If you're looking for efficient advice I'd say your first leveling experience is likely going to be a *little* painful, but not too horrible haha. Just level however you can until you hit max, manastorm is probably the fastest as long as you can comfortably do it. After hitting level cap the first time, I recommend prestiging, where you set your level back down to 1 in exchange for a LOT of rewards, and more deterministic build making. After you hit max for the first time you unlock all of your starter cards, which lets you easily determine your first four abilities with no hassle, and hopefully some of the card packs you collected along the way will be helpful towards your goals. Really the best thing you can do is gain playtime and ascension experience at your own pace. If you want a more informative guide about Prestiging, I have it here on the channel.

The reason epic and legendary enchants are gone is cause Area 52 meta is based on everyone building around said legendary enchants and not making their own build that legendary enchant can complement it with new lengths of making unique builds, Community can be quite toxic and very min maxy in Area 52. I was told my dps pet build with Cauterizing Flames fire bolt to support my dps pet, I was told that build will never going to see the light of day and I need to use existing builds to do heroic dungeons or even normal mode raids, either got fire pure dps with no pet or Beast and Blade legendary enchant build or I am burden of the game. lol
