An exploration permit is just that, a permit to explore. It is a discretionary document. Unless there were terms written in the exploration permit which mandated its renewal, the Australian company has no leg to stand on. Burkina Faso should not be intimidated by this company. It needs to get itself a good lawyer that understands these matters.
