I just loved this recipe! As it has been so hot lately, I chilled it and it made the most wonderful hydration water! So Yummie. I just used the peony petals, nothing else. I know I didn't get all the tiny tiny walkies off, no ants just these almost can't see them insects. Anyhow, I am sure the boiling water took care of them.
No one answered so I’ll tell you what works for my red raspberries. 3 parts sugar to 1 part borax Mix then add just enough water to make clumps. Set the sugar/borax clumps where the ant problem is.

A green tea called Chun Mee. There are more details about the recipe in the description box :)
How do you kept ants away from your flowers?

Mix then add just enough water to make clumps. Set the sugar/borax clumps where the ant problem is.
To my surprise, the ants will pollinate peonies, I tried removing them but then quit and they started blooming really nice for me
