I met Taylor at a restaurant recently and he was very kind and happy to talk. Very approachable! I appreciated his time & it made my day. Gospel Teachers are really the salt of the earth. He uses his exceptional gifts well.

I have not missed one episode of the Come Follow Me insights of this year. Each week I read the scriptures myself then tune in to Scripture Central to get more understanding. I love the feeling of clarity and come away knowing more of myself and more about my Heavenly Father and His Son Jesus Christ.
I want to Thank you for putting so much of yourselves into the show and bringing to us 'more' of the scriptures.

I love all of the Lessons, both of you, Tyler and Taylor teach!
I would, however, like to hear more from Taylor during the 45 minute to hour lessons. You both have great insights, but it seems like we don’t hear much from Taylor throughout the lessons.

This is truly Gods church, revelation and clarification continue as He oversees His sheep! The same Spirit that inspired Paul for his day has inspired His teachers for our day, He was resurrected, He is alive and feeds His sheep. We must continue to share this joy with all and do the work for the dead so they to can partake of this joy!

Thank you for this lesson. While on my mission I heard the story of two elders who taught a couple who were members of an evangelical church. Speaking in tongues was important to them and asked the elders if they could speak in tongue. One of them was speaking a foreign language, he being from Northern Europe and serving in England.
At the end of the discussion, the elders offered the closing prayer. One of the couple asked to pray too. The person started to speak in tongue, unkowned to the couple. However, it was not unknown to the European elder since it was his mother tongue. What he was hearing was all blasphemous words. In short, the couple felt so blessed to have the gift of tongue, but the person who prayed had no idea that instead of praising God he/she was blaspheming.
It is so great to know that, hopefully, we will be able to be reunited to our family, and our beloved pets (dogs, cats, and bunny rabbits, guinea pigs, and whatever other animals we have had in mortality). Pets have the pure love of Christ. Most of them love us no matter what. There is one condition though for us to be reunited with them. It will depend on how we have treated them while they were with us, in mortality.

Ahhh! Handel's Messiah, 1 Corinthians, 15: 21-22. Love how you are helping me to remember how unimaginably important Jesus Christ's Atonement and Resurrection is and that He did it for all of us. And "All of us "is a number too immense to fathom. It's mind boggling what He did. And we must put Joseph Smith in this as well because without the Restoration, we would not have any idea of what Christ did and does, we wouldn't have the web of priesthood, covenants and ordinances that bind us to Him. Thank you so much for every single video you make!!!

I love listening to you each week during the day and during the night - I have difficulties sleeping. Would love it if the ending of your lesson DIDN'T end in such a LOUD crescendo though as sometimes it wakes me up when your beautiful message has relaxed me to blissful sleep. Nevertheless, I love your lessons. Thank you 🙂

Dr. John Lund once taught a very good lesson about communicating . He said that we often think that communicating is simply speaking and hearing, but those are only two facets of communicating. He then began speaking in Spanish, which many recognize but do not understand, myself included. He then taught that effective communicating is the sharing of understanding.

NICE. I'm a fan of Dr. Lund too. Hugh Nibley said scripture resides, not in what we read, but what we understand.

This is almost as good as an Institute class! Almost, because the only thing that would make it perfect would be interaction with the viewers. Thank you ever so much for putting all the time and study into these presentations, they are simply wonderful. I've never liked Paul's writings because I never understood them until now. (I'd rather read Isaiah, at least he is poetic!)

As a side note, is there a way to make your volume louder? I have to listen with my volume all of the way up and even then struggle to hear it all.

    • @christineleblond7777

I think it's not only a volume problem but if is somewhat muffled.. Hard to explain, but I know what you are saying.
      It's not a clear sound.. It's muffled.
Their equipment might not be sophisticated enough to change it.
It's troublesome to me too. It's not clear and distinct.. It's a "muffled" type sound.
Maybe the treble needs to be a little stronger and the bass a little less.

1Cor 14:34&35 women keep silence in the churches....Joseph Smith translated "speak" to "rule". We feel that means women are not to do the priesthood duties to preside in the church.

Concerning women speaking in church - was it a pagan practice for women to yell wildly and dance crazily when doing certain ceremonies or sacrifices? That could be another reason for Paul’s instruction - he would have wanted to help them break away from that practice. But I’m not good with ancient history, so I don’t know if that was happening. Enlighten me, please?
