BO2 Origins and MOTD strike a perfect balance in my opinion.
I think this is why BO4 feels so off to me, the hud feels way too clean and refined for a zombies mode, and the map designs lost the mystique and ruggedness that make you feel like you’re surviving against hoards of zombies.

Zetsoubo didn’t have vibrant colours. Gorod krovi also didn’t have vibrant colours. I’d say the only map which looked cartoonish was revelations and part of shadows of evil.
@@x52wolf12 A lot of the cartoonish elements are in the enemies themselves. On Zetsubou that’s the spiders, and the BO3 zombie designs in general are very non-threatening compared to BO2 imo. Even Zetsubou has a cartoonish artstyle compared to BO1/BO2. it just has less saturated colours.

The intro to this video is so relatable! I was literally the same way and now I’m grinding to at least get 50 on every map and shoot for 100 eventually.
if you do spawn room strategy it is not hard, specially because of 24 zombies + in nacht specifically zombies only hit you if you stand still, now BO1 nacht or WAW nacht in coop are the true challenges.

if one is good enough at zombies, should try BO4 high rounds always on hardcore difficulty, normal is too easy and repetitive since all maps you can just camp with bazooka, with hardcore strategies vary more from map to map and some maps are actually very hard to get to 100.

I genuinely don’t understand how BO4 gets shit on yet CW gets praised. There’s no innovation or anything cool about the maps. The maps on CW feel like campaign and not zombies
ye waw was the best back then but compared to bo1 and bo2 those 2 games are more fun the waw maps were good der reise was hard but bo1 der reise is harder and more fun bo2 zombies was the best cuz they introduced mob of the dead and its the best zombies map of all time best bo1 zombies map is got to be ascension in my opinion
On mob of the dead, I use the same set up when I play solo where I get almost 6000 points on round one. It’s a great way to start. I’ve been using the set up for years.
I started playing back in waw and I did not know zombies existed at all. So when I beat the campaign at 11pm on a Saturday night with my brother, we had ordered a pizza and a 2L of Coca Cola, we had no idea what was going on with the cutscene at the end, my last zombies game I played was Black Ops 3 and I haven’t touched CoD since
CW is the easiest game to get to round 100 and i think thats a good thing because with CW being a different take on the story they tried to get new players this time around.
This vid just reminded me why I stopped playing cod. Especially the zombies. They went from a survival game, to some scavenger hunt with “champions” and bizarre maps. It was enough to have a ray gun and thunder gun. But to add more and more weird weapons just ruins the uniqueness of the original ones. They did too much

I agree when you say bo2 was the hardest zombie game. I tried to hard to get skull shotgun rank I think I was like 12 when I started playing. I got skull and shotguns rank but that's probably because I almost exclusively played town. Without this game I never would have gotten good at zombies

there was no campaign the gui sucked and was complicated and half the maps were bad
They literally were, after the first map everything was a campaign mission converted to a zombies map
