I was hoping to mention the tar sand mines in Alberta Canada and the Red Dog mine in northern Alaska (it’s the largest source of zinc in the world)

I’ve been to Red Dog and the port site a few times about 30 years ago. I also went to Grasberg twice on 120 work visas.

The gold mine in Nevada made 23,000 gold bars. When they said 800,000 oz., it sounded like such a little bit for such a large mine. They really should just said 23,000 gold bars. That would've been MORE impressive.
