Left Kalamazoo in 1985. Always loved Kalamazoo and surrounding areas. Saw quite a few of the old landmarks and a whole lot more new bldgs. State theatre is still there and next door was a hamburger place who served the best olive cheeseburgers. I didnt notice if that place waas still in business cause the ride was a little fast. Loved the film.
Bronson Park (the park on the left at about 8:40 in the video) is where Lincoln made his only speech in the state of Michigan. There's a historical marker.
