- In this video, you will see how to make a mushroom fairy house lamp. It's an awesome concrete craft project you can make at home!! To make this craft I use mainly cement, sand and LED string lights. I use acrylic paint for painting all my craft projects. It’s fun to make and you can use it as an awesome indoor or outdoor decoration. For an outdoor setting, you should coat the planter with a varnish spray UV protective. N°37

Note: To avoid cracks, while the concrete project is drying, be careful not to expose it to the sun. It is better to cover it with a cloth to slow down the drying.

Thanks ! That's an awesome experience, the cement creations are more robust and dedicated to external use (outdoor decoration); it's very resistant to water.

Sorry, the aluminium foil is the best for this use.. It maintain the shpe.

What is the white stuff at the end you painted all over , is it a sealer , or just a base of white paint to make the colors show up, also if it paint is it outdoor paint?, i want tomake this for my lawn, don't i have to seal the concrete first before painting if it's gonna be outside in weather?

Да, это только цемент для первого слоя, и вы можете добавить песок, это лучше .. Лучшая смесь: 2 чашки цемента + 1 чашка песка

Does this have to be kept moist to cure? I "painted" something with cement and water before and that didn't work well. Maybe the sand helps? I didn't make it that far...

Your cement projects are cool and all but I prefer the older ways

So you prefer the creations with the modelling clay (paper clay). The creations with the cement interest all the people who can not have the paper clay or it's very expensive for them. In addition, cement creations are more robust and for external use (outdoor decoration); it's very resistant to water.
Please,when you add cement with abrush on cloth;did include sand also?
