It is the case controlled studies and RCT studies, which have weightage than case series...the answer was quoted from a standard textbook

The lines are taken from Goodman and Gillman...risperidone is used off label for short term treatment of psychotic symptoms of dementia..so it is not go to treat dementia...but to treat psychotic symptoms only...not approved, but only off label use

Sir in gonorrhoea we use I.v ceftriaxone single dose
Yes CDC guidelines now recommend only cetfriaxone for gonorrhea, but to cover other bacteria it is used in combination...even for intra abominal infection, it may be single therapy and combination therapy to cover gram negative, positive and anaerobes..
I think in this type of controversy, we may have to exclude gonorrhea
