If I were to judge this presscon alone, David and Barbie make a great team. Nandoon ang friendship. Nandoon ang comfort. Nandoon ang maturity. And let's face it. Nandoon din ang chemistry. Assuming they were both single in real life... would they be a good real life couple? Yes and no. I feel they can be because they seem to be helping each other grow both in their careers and as individuals. Merely stating that Jak is supportive of Barbie's career (and if David has a gf, merely stating that "gf" is supportive of David's career) doesn't mean that their respective partners are helping them develop as actors. Being supportive means that you are just letting David and Barbie pursue their showbiz careers. On the other hand, I also don't think that they will make a good couple, but I want to qualify that. They will not be a good couple (even if they were single) at this point in their lives because they do come from different worlds (pun intended). Yung paulit-ulit na sinasabi ni Klay tv show, yung magkaiba sila ng mundo, masasabi mo rin yun kina David at Barbie. Magkaiba sila ng social status, at malaki ang difference nila. May racial difference din, what with David being a Filipino-Chinese. That's two aspects of their lives na mahirap pag nagka-relationship sila. Sabi ng nag-marriage seminar sa amin noon, the reason why the church doors are open during weddings is to give either party who does not want to continue with the ceremony to run away.
