This story was so long and yet moved so quickly. Just as I was dreamily hoping for some type of description to allow me to amble and build up my imagination. Nothing. It was literally a bullet point list of ‘story stuff’. Read at quick speed. The best parts were were the Granddad was allowed to speak. The dark mysterious sweet shop for example. It’s abandoned look. It’s ancient anxious owner. Could have been beautiful. Nah. We just badgered him till he answered. Several times I wished I could gag the grandson. Or erase him from the 3/4 of the story. This is a great story!! It could be so dark and suspenseful. Did a human write it or AI?
.. went abit over bord with the whole "dirty" part.. the dig went on & on, what really were you didding a hole to china or something. Anyway, very cleaver. Thanks
