I'm of the opinion wnt (Matchroom Pool) needs to rethink the break. They moved the 9 to the spot and break from the box to takeaway or minimize the near automatic wing ball in the corner pocket. Well, now, the one in the side is pretty much automatic. I think they should go back to old school. One ball on the spot and NO template rack. Triangle only.

Whatever configuration it is, it will just take a few hours worth of tinkering before the pros figure out which ball will fall - and then the other pros will follow suit, thats the way it is.
I agree. I miss the old 9-ball format...
it definitely should not. 1 ball to the side is much harder to break than the wingball which goes even if you're breaking with one hand, and controling the cue ball with the cut break is way harder than the old break, where the cue ball just stays in the middle. If you watch a match between the top players and lower ranked players the break looks completely different. The template should definitely stay to ensure fairness between breakers. The WPA 10 ball tournaments are plagued with cases of bad breaks due to the loose rack by the ref. Human error should not be a factor in such a tight-marginal game like pool

You can just type it in youtube if the whole match aint up yet it should be in anywhere from hours to couple days.
Pool players have to be the least skillful of any professional sports person. Some of the missed shots and terrible positional shots in this are embarrassing.

@@Kenji917it's a bit hard to explain but you could try it sometimes; it's to make your stand more sturdy
@@kandangayampremium348 i actually did try it and it did help with shots where i have to elevate or lean forward a bit (like jump shots or rail shots).

Ask urself have you won any pro tours events?
