I remember seeing his sketchbook videos and I was like, this dude is so good. Been keeping an eye on his work ever since. Awesomely talented dude and his hard work has paid off.
I watched the Hades trailer a year ago because I was interested in the game, and it's so wild to come back to it now from a completely different side and for an entirely different reason. Thankful to Drawfee for introducing me to Spencer, gotta find more of his work (even though I've seen a lot of it without even realising)
i've been following Spencers progress since he was in college, and its amazing to see him work and grow as he's done. he keeps popping up in animated shows and i love it. looking forward to more amazing stuff over the coming years
Why is this not getting covered alot. I didn't know you could create your own studio so easily. This is Huge for future animators. Especially with Sony buying Crunchyroll more competition will be needed.
Man is a genius. He, LeSean Thomas, Peter Chung, and Joaquim Dos Santos should collaborate. Maybe create an animation school in the US. Sadly Monty Oum is not with us...
He really got to make an animation dream team
Kinda sucks that apparently animation studios don't get credit when they put out work like this, I'm glad Supergiant made sure to do that
@Kev Walthall He was talking about when they work on trailers and such. Everything you named was the company's own project.
@Kev Walthall you forgot Pierrot, Tatsunoko, Satelight, Shaft, Science Saru, Polygon Pictures, CloverWorks, Kinema Citrus, & Geno
Spencer Wan's greatest achievement. Well, second greatest achievement. The first was Seltzer Avalanche
Poor, poor Jacob.

It’s easy to start a company. But remaining a company is the hard part.
BRO THE ANIMATION YOU DO ARE ALL MASTERPIECES
4:37 it's so hard to hear that these animators don't get paid as much as they should. They all created masterpieces.
Learned about him through drawfee, and am still amazed by his abilities :)
"We had 5 followers and we jumped to 17..." Me: Ok, not a huge leap, but, it will get recognized soon enough I bet.
*"THOUSAND followers"* Me: Oh...
Can't wait for the upcoming projects that this amazing team will bring out!
Now we need a hades series.
There are no accidents master Oogway

Maybe with forward thinking creatives like him making a change "the starving artist" will be a thing of the past
