How'd you get the water so clear? It doesn't display like for any version of pcsx2 I've tried, including 1.7.3 and the newest. it is always a pixelated and fast-flowing mess.
water is glitched at 4k (17:25). The "pixelation" you speak of is actually how its supposed to look in the original, provided you don't raise the resolution too high.

You can still play this game, but on Android, there is a PS2 emulator called NetherSX2, it is a good alternative for those who want to emulate this great console on a mobile device.

I mean, I’m not sure how the emulation community works, but…I would assume PCSX2 would pay you something for you to mod games on their emulator. Because again…this is INCREDIBLE. I could just imagine what spin you could put on Armored Core games or Gran Turismo 3: A-Spec with you at the helm making a texture mod…😳

Great job with the texture pack SomberTwilight. I noticed that in the first level, the water is not glitched in your video. Is there a specific setting that addressing this issue?
I figured it out. I downloaded her texture mod and installed the version of PCSX2 she included. 1.7.2996 with OPEN GL as the video renderer will make the water look clear like it is here in this video. People on the discord say it must be a bug, because the water on that level doesn't look like that on real hardware or on other versions of PCSX2, no matter the video renderer. And I tried every setting under multiple versions, so I'd have to agree it's a bug or something.
I suspect he was deliberately showcasing the models from every angle and in various animations, and that requires not just playing well, but playing poorly (i.e., performing non-stealth moves, taking damage, etc).

awe thank you, most pcs can run this game nowadays at full strength. I got .y pc for around 500-700
its emulation, using pcsx2 nightly, and the game iso.

Wow! How did you disable the motion blur this game has? And for that matter, the water is looking good too. How did you manage that?
I would LOVE to know this as well. The Motion Blur is the BANE of replaying these games.
@@julianroman3268 Turns out the solution is the de-interlacing feature. Find that option in your graphics settings and switch it to something else.
