I love Siren's duality he has characters and stories that are so sweet and romantic like Thresh and the wedding and Duke baking than ones like this where he's like " I burned a man alive in a forge as an act of revenge for killing my family" woah man heavy. Also love that after years of isolation he still knows how to flirt by telling us we have a pretty face in the Moonlight 🩵
They sat silently for a moment before responding. "Were you wrong to do what you could to survive? To live a life as a weapon because you were told that was what you deserved? Were you wrong take revenge for the death of your family? To kill the man who turned you into a tool for his usage and treated those you loved as nothing more than words on a page and coinage trading hands? No, I don't believe so." They sat for a moment longer before turning their face up to him, looking as deeply as they could into the iron of the helmet. "If seeing my face is the price for the story, I shall stay as close to these bars as I can in the light. I may not yet be comfortable telling my own story but this small favor I can offer you. Choose a name, any you like, and I shall call you by it for as long as you wish me to."
"That's fucked!" Faceless leaned back, startled by this sudden outburst that had so rudely interrupted his story. He watched quietly as the thief got up and began pacing the room. "*This* was your punishment for killing just one dude? I mean sure, he was a general and all, but they practically melted your face off! I get throwing you in jail, don't get me wrong, but solitary confinement for killing the guy who hired someone to kill your family? That's bullshit." Faceless smiled as the small thief sat back down in a huff. "So, you believe I'm justified in my actions?" he asked, leaning forward. " I'm... not sure. " The young man frowned at the ground as Faceless took in the sight. "You have a beautiful face," he suddenly declared. The thief's head shot up, eyebrows raised in surprise. Before he could say anything, Faceless spoke again. "Cherish it. Remember it." The young boy flashed a confused smile, along with a muffled "thanks" in return. I know I will, Faceless thought as he stared into the shining eyes of the thief. Catching himself, he cleared his throat. "So, what did a small thing like you do to get yourself locked up down here?" The boy let out a soft laugh. " *That* is a very long story." Faceless smiled. "We seem to have an eternity. And anyway, I like a good story."

EDIT: SIR THIS WAS SO GOOD, and the following short story was somewhat concerningly fun to write 😐 Eir Sieglinde (pronounced Air SIEGE-Lind) pondered all that this faceless man had said, knowing that she would have done, at least similar in his situation, she could not fault him, though nor could she say he was guiltless. She wasn’t, so she should know. “My story… will be nothing like yours.” She said, looking him in what she could only assume were his eyes beneath the helm. “And, as you said of yours, it will be your place to judge if it is just as bad.. but I do feel at least, that it is just as filled with rage, and no small amount of grief as yours.” Eir said, adjusting to sit on her knees, hands palms down on her lap, head slightly bowed and eyes closed. Taking a breath to steel herself, and to try to keep herself calm enough to spin her tale without bursting into either flaming rage or tears like duel rivers, as the emotions were still so recent, and subsequently still so hot, like a poker in a fire, that any tremor in her composure would crumble her walls. Several deep breaths later, and she began. “Nine years old. I… ran away from… well it was never really home, just a place where children are left at the doorstep when they aren’t wanted or can’t be cared for.” She began with bitterness in her voice, keeping her eyes closed as if that helped her stay somewhat calm. “I hadn’t anything but a small knapsack filled with only my one stuffed toy, and a few small pilfered pieces of food from the old, hardly functioning kitchen that I and my housemates were made to clean. Among near a hundred other far worse chores.” She continued, going on to tell how swiftly her food ran out, and how quickly she began to despair, terrified of these new unknown surroundings but knowing she could never go back. She told of how her stomach, aching with hunger by the second day was making her contemplate going back whence she ran. Finally collapsing in exhaustion beneath a tree, wondering if this was where she would spend the rest of her at the time, short foreseeable life. “And then I was found.” She said “By…” she paused, but only for the slightest moment “By Munites, I only… briefly realized I was being held, and.. carried somewhere… before I fell unconscious, and then woke some hours later in a warm bed, the smell of something delicious in the air, and to the sound of my stomach complaining.” She smiled slightly at the memory “I had never been treated with such kindness and understanding as when I was with Tr- the Munites. They took me in, taught me their ways, became my family… and they were more so than any biological parents I may yet still have….” She said, looking somewhat sad before steeling herself again after a moment “I only wish I could’ve saved them from a… a group of crazed zealots- claiming to be Rexenites who came through and- and massacred my family. I was the one unlucky enough to be chosen as the only survivor who-“ she paused again for a half second “Who would tell others about them.” She continued, saying how as subsequent years passed, hopping to and from Munite settlements, welcomed, but never having quite that same familial bond with any of them as she’d had with her own family. “As the… the years dragged on, hate grew inside me for those who had… Deni- t-taken from me the… only people who had ever cared for me.” Eir said, her chin quivering as she took a few more steadying breaths. “Soon that hate turned to loathing, which turned to rage, which turned into a desire to hunt every last one of them down… *and so I did.”* she said, rather, snarled, eyes still closed as her chin quivered still more, a slight tremor in her voice now as she spoke “I did to them what they deser- w-what they did to my family. And when I finally got to the las- to their leader? There was this moment… we locked eyes, and *in,* that moment… I… I looked at him… *and I saw myself.* in that moment I knew. This sorry excuse for a living being, was my father. Not some raving lunatic like I thoug- l-like his followers, but a noble, d… disguised as such a monster, which was really no disguise at all, but the true man behind the ruse of a gentleman. I severed one of his Achilles tendons, stabbed him non fatally in the gut, and held my knife to his jugular as I said *’you took the lives of my family. So I’m taking yours. Sound fair.?’* all he did was grin, and tried to say something before I slit his throat.” Her voice calm, collected, not a waver in her tone and then “it wasn’t long before I was found out and caught, then tried and put in here… I still remember that demented grin on that man’s face as the light left his eyes. I may have wondered briefly before I was caught… but I knew he knew who I was before I killed him… I knew what he was going to say….” She took a deep breath. Then her composure came crumbling down *”like father… like.. d-daughter.”* her voice shaking as tears leaked from her eyes and down her cheeks, her hands now moving to cover her mouth to muffle her sobs, both of despair and grief, and of self loathing.
A good question as to why we're there. Here's my take. "I was framed," she said as she looked to faceless. "Framed for a crime I did not commit, and they had all the evidence they needed to frame me, because I am a magic wielder." She said, with disappointment in her words as she looked out to the wall outside of their cage, "I had every reason not to commit the crime, as it was my mentor, and another students." She looked back to faceless, pity in her tone as she spoke. "However, I was more skilled between the two of us, and my mentor favored me over them, causing them to, kill our mentor, and pin the crime on me." She rolled her eyes as she spoke, "Simply, because they were petty, because they weren't good enough...However, if I had to have committed the crime...It wouldn't be on our mentor, no." A smile crossed her face as she stared at the man before her. "I would do it to them, I never liked them, they were nothing but rude, selfish, ignorant, and spoiled. Thinking that the world owed them for everything they didn't get. And, so if I had to choose, rather it be me, or them, I rather it be them, who were faulted...After all, why feel remorse for someone, when you've done nothing wrong?"
I'm so curious about what the listener's reason for being imprisoned is- and I wonder if we will be able to get his helmet off in future videos and see his face-- another amazing video :DD

I'm quite curious about how did the listener get in the prison. I feel like the listener probably was framed or did something really cruel by accident. Like they was a mage and accidentally blew up a village or they was framed for ruining a company or something. Maybe the listener did that crime on purpose and was like Nameless who wanted revenge after believing a lie.. Maybe they had people who they trusted and back stabbed them to save their own skins? Who knows..
Part three pls???? Also what he did was so resonable and i think it was the right thing and why would i be scared of him if he is such a sweetheart ❤❤❤❤❤ Also amazing job

I FIGURED OUT MY TIME LIMIT'S PASCODE JUST TO LISTEN TO THIS!
🫡🫡 one of my favs
I was waiting for a new chapter on this!!
My thoughts always go right to listener being framed lol :)
been hoping we got more of this!!
excellent audio it is awesome and perfect you did pretty great job 😃😁🤩👍
6:25 "... All I look like now is-" Shovel Knight?
I genuinely think what he did was completely terrible, it was a fitting punishment for the general. I want to know what the listener's story is now
He kind of looks like a muscular version of Shovel Knight
Audibly said "FUCK YEAH" when I saw an update
Edit: the way I would go red if he called my face beautiful even tho I can't see his 🚶
My poor baby boy 🥺
I just want to hug and show him love and kindness! If not take his time, place, and punishment so he can be free
I'm so curious about what the listener's reason for being imprisoned is- and I wonder if we will be able to get his helmet off in future videos and see his face-- another amazing video :DD
Hello! Oh yeah, I'm really excited to see more of the lore of this character and who are we going to end!!
Thanks my Lord 💙💙
..I just realized he is quite literally a captive audience 😏 *pulls out a bunch of dad jokes* so what did the ocean say ti the beach? Nothing it just waved! 😎 I think I’m so funny

There's more parts???
Well, MERRY CHRISTMAS 💙🥹💀
Ok your voice is as Amazing as Always!!
Yes! Mystery Beefy Man!!!
Loved this audio can we get a part 3?
I'm quite curious about how did the listener get in the prison. I feel like the listener probably was framed or did something really cruel by accident. Like they was a mage and accidentally blew up a village or they was framed for ruining a company or something. Maybe the listener did that crime on purpose and was like Nameless who wanted revenge after believing a lie.. Maybe they had people who they trusted and back stabbed them to save their own skins? Who knows..
thank you Siren, I've been waiting for part two of this big boy
ohh purr so he's poetic too 🤭🤭🤭
Siren…listen..i have a trade offer. We get a part 3 of this and you get a homemade scarf. Pretty good deal if you ask me
LORE TIME YEEEEEEEEE
Best roleplay ever!!!
I’m going to hear those verses all night. Christmas came early. Thank you siren
That’s a big boy right there
Cant wait for more Intrigued lol
I wonder if he’s a victim of Ravenfell? 👀👀
Part three pls????
Also what he did was so resonable and i think it was the right thing and why would i be scared of him if he is such a sweetheart ❤❤❤❤❤
Also amazing job
If he did that…what we did ourselves ?
I just imagined listener and faceless as that one key and peele skit 😂
Listener: You know i’m actually kinda comfortable
Faceless: not that bad, I was so stressed from work i feel unplugged
Listener: True I mean it could be worse, we are still alive
Faceless: Exactly
We might be getting spoiled but we might need a part 3 of camping with your rivel
I meant rival
Damn, wonder what we did to end up here. Either way, definatly looking forward to figuring that out
