This is great for people like me who have a good grasp of intuitive F2L and need to optimize some of the bad cases. So many of the similar videos are for people learning intuitive f2l or for some of the really basic "advanced" cases (i.e. corner in slot misoriented). Of course those videos are super useful in their own right, but this really fills a gap IMO!
4:12 A cool way to solve that pair into the back left slot is to put both pieces in the front, do a righty sune, and then you'll be left with a 3 move insert. 6:44 There's an easy way to memorise this algorithm, it's just a sexy sledge but you replace the R moves with the wide R moves. Nice video, definitely didn't expect this format when I saw the thumbnail lol
@@TheKoalaKangaroo Your F2l edge will be in front with the side colours facing you. Your F2l corner will be in the front right with your cross colour facing upwards. From here, do Sune and then L U L' to solve this pair.
This is honestly one of the videos I’ve been waiting for so for! My solve went down by 2 seconds after I learnt all of this! Thank you so much tingman I just realised that this comment is kind of similar to another comment so I just wanted to point that out
Thanks Tingman for the amazing video! This was really helpful as I was struggling with f2l: it was dragging my solves down. I had never realised all these f2l tricks until now! Thanks so much Tingman! Keep it up!
4:12 You can do L U L' U2 L U L' U' L U L'. It doesn't require regrips and doesn't break homegrip rules. 7:48 You can do R2 U' R2 U' R' U R' U R2. You have to start with thumb on top, but it has no regrips which makes it pretty fast. PS: I think I made this algorithm as I have not seen anyone use it or talk about it before.
My personal space: 0:23 The nearly perfect pair (same side on top, back slot solve) ✅0:48 The wide insert (pair pieces back , back slot solve)✅ ✅1:17 The long sledgehammer (pair pieces front, back slot solve)✅ ✅1:49 The Feliks 3-second solve (rotationless 3 mover)✅ ✅3:31 The 11 mover, from behind (all slot can do)✅ ✅4:32 The F block (same as 11 mover situation)✅ 5:08 The lucky inconvenient pair (back slot solve, white side) ✅5:33 The keyhole edge✅ ✅6:09 The edge on the side (sledgehammer is easier)✅ 6:55 The one with the M slice (front slot solve, white side) 7:27 The edge to the back (back slot, corner solved)
For "#2 The edge on the side" (6:09), I think it's easier to move the edge to the back of the cube then do a Sledge Hammer + Sexy Move (without the final U'). So from the way you were holding the cube when the edge was on the right side, it would be (U' (R' F R F') (R U R' )). It's the same number of turns as the alg you used, but I think this one is better than the alg you used.

Wow I didn't know about that sune trick, will probably keep using L U L' U2 L U L' U' L U L' though for lookahead purposes.
Instead putting them in the front, you can do a back sune
I kept trying but I didn’t do it. What do you mean by “putting both pieces in the front”
