I like non-Glock pistols that take Glock mags, and this one is interesting.
Well this one is a Glock. Look at a great shot of the Glock crucifix at 08:26.
Turkey has been killing it with their pistols, as of late! Thanks for the share!!
I am blown away with the quality and design of this pistol for this price point. I hope it gets very popular and places like lok grips make some aluminum grips for it.
Some of these Turkish companies really do put out some really nice, really good products.
Sadly one of the hazards is that we never know how long said company will be around.
I'm not bashing, either. I've got some Turkish shotguns I'm looking at, on my wishlist. But yeah, I've seen when they go out of stock, they don't come back in.
😥
Thank you very much for this fair comment. Ermox Defense has been manufacturing since 1995. Ermox USA is also coming soon.
WOW I got my Ermox Defense 9mm 2 months ago and I love it! Hope it do get popular as well as other guns from this manufacturer!
I snatched one up too, fueled by the low price for an all-metal gun. It is disconcerting that there doesn't seem to be anyone behind the gun if something goes wrong but I've taken it out three times and I have been very happy with it. I really love the bright sights. Too bad that they are now obscured by the green dot I put on it... that may not last. It does seem like the barrel could be a millimeter shorter; it would still meet the front of the frame and it would be easier to get out. But nice quality over all.
At the MSPO 2023 fair, the premiere of a new pistol from Fabryka Broni "Łucznik" took place. The gun is called "MPS". M- modułowy, P- pistolet, S- samopowtarzalny.
I just bought this gun yesterday! I'm so glad I did! It's incredibly accurate and fun to shoot! I can't wait to go back to the range with it! Do yourself a favor and go out and buy one before Armox figures out that they have a jewel and up the price. Now you should be able to purchase one between $350-$400.
Some users report metal frame retains warm temperature longer than polymer frame 🧐
No wonder the pre travel on the trigger feels heavy, they used a 50 gallon drum as a firing pin block.
Still, gotta hand it to the Turks, they pack a lot of high end features into their pistols and then sell them to us for Taurus prices.
Also interesting how the striker indicator is pretty common for Turkish pistols, I wonder if canik is like glock in Turkey where it set the standard for what people expect from a pistol in terms of features
Sweet, can't wait to see the impressions👍
Like the cleaning kit, great for range or trips
Mine just came in. The slide to frame on mine is nice and tight. There is no play at all in the slide or barrel. The finish is fantastic, both inside and out. The installed black grips were perfect, but the red grips have some hot spots where they slightly protrude from the frame, but that isn't anything that a few minutes with a Dremel won't fix. Also, the barrel on mine slips right out. The trigger is heavy but very crisp. It was just a bit gritty when I first pulled it out of the box, but I have been dry firing the hell out of it and has smoothed out. I do have to say that it feels great in the hand. I am 6'4'' and I would say that I have medium sized hands for my height. I get a great purchase on the gun and the controls are right where they should be. I have not fired it yet, but plan to put a few hundred rounds through it Saturday. Thanks for the great review, it was the deciding factor in making the purchase, and I am glad that I did.
Dude I enjoy your videos so much. Not only are you through, consistent, and eloquent, you also have a thing for Turkish and other high quality (hopefully) low cost guns. When I saw this ErmoX and no videos, I was 100% certain you’d make one so I chilled out. Well done once again.
Thank you. It's not because they're Turkish, but because they either offer good value or something different. Those tend to come from Turkey.
Interesting piece
Turkey is making some nice firearms for an affordable prices
Have a feeling that it's going to be a smooth shooter.
That is a impressive review
Thank you. If you enjoyed this format it's the same treatment we've given hundreds of guns.
I have to call the styling a success. Attention-getting but still tasteful.
Graham i just watched the shooting review. It's a fantastic pistol for the price far more accurate than many other's I've seen you review at double that price. 😊
I was blown away, it may just be the way the ergonomics work with my hand, but I filmed four guns that day and this one was by far the easiest for me to be accurate with.
There's a lot to like here. I'm looking forward to seeing how it performs as I love the look and the aluminum frame & grip shape. Going to GB Guns to see what additonal info is available.
Man , that one looks nice👍👍
Looking forward to what’s for dinner! I have seen a few reviews on this and want to buy one, but been waiting on your review.
Looks amazing, full length slide, a beefy slide block, heavy trigger and also a heavy fire pin safety mechanism make it more like a heavy duty pistol. Turkish pistols are very well made. Plz include weight measurement segment in ur review we so can have an idea about its conceal carry scenario. 👍👍👍👍
I like this pistol. Very nice kit too... The Turks make very nice weapons !
I shot this one today (will get it to the Patrons as soon as I can get it processed. I was impressed!
Thanks GB. Great job. Good info. God bless.
LETS GO BRANDON
Thank you for this video and sharing affordable options with your viewers. That striker indicator pin coming out from the back does the same thing as LTT backplate for Glocks. If you put your thumb on it when holstering, the trigger cannot be pressed and provides the same safety as a DA/SA option.
I'm going to disagree on that. those little pins don't have enough surface area to properly prevent this, they just poke into your finger a little.
I am very much interested in this, saw Classic Firearms ad for this last week ..
Picking mine up from my FFL tomorrow. Luckily Classic Firearms ran it on a sale for $319.99 which I was fortunate enough to pick it up for. Definitely an interesting firearm fir a budget price.
Cool
Looking foreward to this "What's for Dinner". I have high hopes for this gun as I have a fovorable opinion of Turkish guns and shotguns. My Sister-in-Law has a Sarsilmaz while I own a Darya Arms scatter gun.
It looks like a mix of the HKP7/Sig 226 / Glock.
Man. The 11 min mark. Listening to that slide go on & off was nifty
thanks, fore runing the review. did buy one very happy with it. was wondering why you havent done one on beretta apx a1 full size there all around me fore 399
Just a heads up the trigger housing may be proprietary, the connector and the way it attaches definitely is. Didn't have a spare housing to check fitment. The connector is notched and attached to a removable plastic block that slides into the housing. I tried to change it out to lighten the trigger because the trigger pull is heavy and not good at all. The trigger shoe and reset is good however but this is not a 1:1 G3 clone so please be aware before spending money. Also G19 slides will not be compatible either.
This is why I've told people it's NOT a Glock clone, just because something takes Glock magazines everyone gets all excited. I can say however that after some range time I didn't notice the trigger weight to be an issue like I first thought.
VP9 had a baby with Shadow, and this is what resulted.
Literally looks like both mashed together.
Interesting gun , aluminum frame and a gock19 gen3 clone but different and budget price and Turkish made. The locking block is screwed to the frame and might loosen from disassembly from cleaning over time.
Not quite a Glock clone. The magazines are the same and trigger appears similar, but that's where the similarities end.
It’s like a Steyr M9
Do not worry. I am a Turk and I also had not heard of it.
Korean magazines. The feedlips will spread out and the springs will not last. They work until they don't. For $8 they're not horrible.
Wait til Ian does a video on this in a few years.
This one intrigues me. Does it fit into Glock holsters?
I would be curious to see if a Glock trigger will work in them, the price is appealing for a metal framed gun.
Sadly doesn't have front sights. Just back and rear? LOL Love it.
7:52 that weird that the mag release isn’t reversible, if the mags have a catch on both sides.
😯😯😯👍👍👍😁😁😁 verygood sudyord
I from THAILAND PATLUNG
5. 9. 66
3:10 I dont think there is any different with Glock mags. Only thing that changes is between Gen 3 and 4, if the mag catch is switchable.
The differences are in the thickness and polymer used. We've tested several "glock compatible" guns with a variety of aftermarket mags and typically find a couple the gun doesn't like. We do this to save folks money so they don't buy the wrong "compatible" magazines. Search the channel page for a Glock-pattern gun Shooting Impressions video and you'll see what I mean.
😊😊👍🏼👍🏼
I'd like to go on their website but can't find PW Arms or Ermo X ..
PW Arms is either out of business or doesn't want to be contacted. Ermox Defense has a Turkish website I linked to in the article.
Sounds like there is a Gen2 coming soon?
There are more models in the works as well as some changes to the base model.
I don't know yet, but I hope to. This first model is impressive. Did you see the range video?
Yes - interesting results for an inexpensive aluminum frame! I am interested, but the trigger does look like needs some attention. Did see 1 reply to your article where they used some MCarbo springs to lower the pull but indicated was not easy to do.
I really would love to know if this takes glock barrels
It would be a downgrade, but yes it takes Glock barrels. The barrel and magazine are the only interchangable parts.
I would pay $350 for that if it runs good.
My owner's manual was not in english.Try contacting them no luck
Internals are just like Glock takes Glock mags it's a Glock clone I'm not a Glock fanboy either .nice pistol im definitely going to check it out
I noticed it says "Made in Turkiye" in front bof the trigger guard. I thought it was *Turkey*
"Turkiye" is the official way of spelling it and their government has asked the world to start using that. Biden recently announced the US would comply. Nevermind Nippon, Rossiya, Deutschland, etc, but we'll now officially not use "Turkey"
@@life_of_riley88 I only knew because I read foreign news via proxy. It's interesting to hear what US news won't tell us, or at the least to hear a different side.
You tube has no problem with talking about price. its takeing the gun apart they dont allow on video
They've also dinged me specifically for mentioning price; accusing me of trying to sell things. Another reason I don't like to talk prices is that these videos can not be changed once published, but the prices do change. That's why every video has a link where you can find the current price.
@@gbgunsmedia You're not supposed to put links up for guns on TH-cam . Have you not watched TGC news or classic firearms they tell you prices
Good looking pistol. Glad it takes Glock mags. Looking firward to the What's for dinner testing and thoughts. ♠️🎩🎯🎱🇺🇲🏁🇺🇦🔱🌻🌸🌼🏵️💮🏴☠️🏹
You're the only one that won't. Give the price, and I watch these videos on TH-cam all day. And never heard anyone not give the price
Because I understand that: 1. Prices change but videos do not and 2. TH-cam can shut a channel down for mentioning price by accusing them of attempting to sell. I list prices for every gun reviewed in the pinned comment; a website I pay to host and have control over.
Took me less time to click the link and scroll down to see the price than it did to write this comment.
I've lost count of the number of times I've seen a TH-cam creator mention a price (either in text or in audio/video) and 3-4 years later, someone complains in the comments because the price has changed and that the content creator is wrong.
Nowadays, you don't even have to wait a year for a price raise - all it takes is a bit of gun-grabbing or a pandemic to cause an immediate spike in price.
It's SUPER easy and quick to just search the price for YOURSELF.
It's considered a "Glock clone" because the mechanical design of it is well, a Glock clone.....
Clone would mean 1:1 parts interchange which this does not have. Only barrel and magazine.
The internals look exactly like a glock.
It looks like a kid designed this pistol
Wierd.
🤣🤣 These magazines are not legal in the state of Washington.
The "ghost gun" Biden had in his hands wasn't legal in DC either.
But, there ya go.
🤣🤣
Thanks for being original in your reviews, and certainly for avoiding the whining political propaganda becoming more common among the TH-cam shills.
I'm just here for the guns. The passion started in my youth collecting WWII surplus pieces. I found it fascinating how a piece represented that nation's economy, culture, and priorities in building a firearm. We're some used for "evil" from pur perspective? Sure, but that's not what I saw in them. When I became a soldier, the forementioned Ttirbutes only became more interesting.
@@GBGuns Your's is one of the few channels I trust. As long as people think for themselves, they can form whatever opinions they choose. What offends me is when people....like Mrgunsnshill and Sootch00...pander to those who don't like thinking and force their opinions on others. Please keep up what you're doing.
Im confused it dosnt have a traditional saftey? Its a internal?
Article with full review, specs, and where to find one: www.gbgunsdepot.com/post/ermox-defense-x-fire I've also learned some things since this video was made. The article has been updated.
