- It can be hard to believe if you look at the waves he surfs, but Mark Mathews is actually a person. In this two-part Peaking series, we reveal his human side.
Mark is both a competitor and an event organizer for the Red Bull Cape Fear challenge. In the first episode of Peaking, we ride with Mark as he deals with the stress of organizing an event at one of the world’s scariest and most unpredictable waves. That, and mentally preparing himself to try and actually go win his heat.
