I spoke to him about it, and he told me everything, how he was so afraid to tell my mother about it, because she wasn't even home at the time. I grieved for a while, but I knew eventually I'd have to move on. I am doing much better now, especially regarding my feelings towards loss. He was a wonderful cat, but as a child I did not understand entirely what it meant to have someone grow old and leave, even if it wasn't when they should have. I never resented my father for what he did, because I knew that he was good, and he understood the pain that he caused. I am much older now and I still miss him, but I don't blame my father for it. Then my mom got a call and she left... About a hour later she came back... Crying... Her Dad... My grandpa... He died... I was heart broken and I still am... I went to his funeral...
