Yes I do. I hunt and fish with a group of friends, and I needed more space from my current 3rd gen Taco. If this thing can't give me another 3 inches or so of leg room, forget it. I'll get the Tundra. Our group takes turns driving and hauling gears, and boats. I needed more leg room in the back, during hunting trips. If the new Taco can't give that, it's a no go for me.
@@trailsandtrucks - Yeah. I'd have to do just that. I'm not buying a dang thing that's sight-unseen, like some people would. I have to see it, before I buy it.
A 200 ft/lb increase in torque (75%) with the new I-Force from the old 3.5 V6 is huge for anyone that tows. The 3rd gen styling is going on close to 8 years now. Frame, powertrain, headroom, styling, interior... There are a lot of upgrades, unless I were getting a significant discount, I wouldn't consider buying an end of run 2023 over a new gen 2024.
It’s an air dam. Toyota says it enhances mileage. 9 bolts and you put it in your garage for storage. The good thing is Toyota DID leave cutouts for the recovery hooks.
I currently have a 2022 with 2.5/1'' lift on 285s, looks like the new truck is 704.6'' in height and taller than the 3rd gen stock, from your perspective was the stock 4th gen similar to a lifted 3rd gen? Thanks for the in depth review!
I didnt seem similar to a lifted one but it definitely seemed higher then stock 3rd gens but visually that front air dam throws off the look. When its removed they look much taller... and the rear wheel wells have a ton of up travel room similar to a lifted 3rd gen. So you may be on to something! Keep in mind a lifted 3rd gen usually also has bigger tires so its hard to draw a comparison definitively. Thanks for watching!
I really like it but at the end of the day I would rather buy a 4Runner before they redesign it and put a turbo in it. A 4Runner will last the next twenty years. I don’t think anyone can say these new turbo Tacoma’s will be.
Everyone always says that I will buy a toyota and keep it for 20yrs but the 3-4years later they trade it in for a new model only 1% keep it for 10yrs before finally getting a new one
Why would th ey make it with less space in the rear. I want more space in the rear , it’s useless, and why not make the bed like a foot longer. I don’t get it
Not sure if they will have a long bed option, I imagine they would. But yes when you get a chance to sit in one... do it and decide for yourself for sure.

Ya its tough i would def go to a dealership when they come out and sit a 4th and 3rd gen side by side and decide for yourself!

thanks for sharing... if we bought a 2024 it would be for the hybrid and new powertrain overall
nope...... i will keep my tacoma, with a V6
@@trailsandtrucksmanual all day for me on this one

I'd love to have the new power train, along with the 4 door, long bed, and a manual transmission. Keep in cab as simple as possible.
Looks way better than the 2023,this new 2024 is how a tacoma should look, not like a hawg nose sucker. I'm selling my 2023,and getting a new 2024

Rear seat and towing capacity are deal breakers for me. What is the point of a quad cab if it is just a big extend cab?
Definitely go sit in one first before you decide! Keep in mind this a media model so who knows the production ones may be enough for what you need =)

Bro who wants the same vehicle for 20 years 😂.
Who the hell kept it for 20 years?
Id love to have one lol

Yes there is a 6 foot bed option
What is the price for that spec?
Almost 60k because of those dealerships
Maybe even more
No thanks, I love my 2023 TRD Off Road and will stick with it
Too much unnecessary technology. I’m buying a base model 2023
I will be glad to sell you my 2023,so I can buy a new 2024.
No. I've already had issues with my 2023 trd off road and regret buying it. 4th Gen first year purchase is a mistake. Hybrid is a no go as well...
What issues?
Why is the hybrid a no go? Way more torque.
