A large majority of people literally thought Kendrick was perfect before Mr. morale and when I say perfect, I mean, just not super flashy, not trying to do stuff for anything other than just his love of music and family. They just thought he was like this mysterious well do gooder overall.
I think there's something that DJ HED knows about the album that maybe the general population may not be aware of.

Without Mr. Morale Drake wouldn't have anything else to throw at Kendrick as he wouldn't have known anything that Kendrick brought to light on Mr. Morale
