I believe the Black port on the left rear is the air intake for the engine's fuel injection system. As someone else mentioned the hooked tool is for operating the jack which is under the front seat and attached to the rear wall of the compartment. One thing you might consider getting is side curtains for when you have to drive in the rain. I have seen them on the Bajaj Re when I was in Sri Lanka where they are very common.

Congratulations Helmz, on becoming the owner of Bajaj RE. Thanks for for purchasing a vehicle made in India. I am from India and I saw your video today only. Road clearance is less because the vehicle has to maintain the balance, and it is not over rolled. We have so many such vehicles running in India and in some Asian countries. Bajaj is a reputed company making three wheelers for decades. If you take proper care and maintain the vehicle well , it will serve for two decades easily. All the best.

It's doing okay.. So far we're o ly doing change oil and filter....
Bajaj has been in India for decaded and drivers here think its most reliable and low maintenance than tvs and piaggio.

The tools....the one with the hook is for the jack. You put the hook in the jack and use the tire wrench to jack up the car.
The tube type tool is for spark plug removal. And the other wrench is for taking the lug nuts off to change a tire.
A real hotrod....hopefully you won't be speeding at 100 kilometres all the time!!!!

I looked at Bajaj Indian website and they make loads of engine variations, including a diesel, wish they would make that available here in the Philippines. I love the idea of owning one of these BUT it just doesn't seem cheap at P180K; in India same vehicle costs approx P107K

Quality is okay.. For private use and for market use.. Not allowed in the highway.. Parts not easy to get.. And not for local passenger if ur town restrict Bajaj Passengers... Easily rusted out when not properly taken cared of... Better sound than that of the Ape City trike..

Nice video, I've noticed they all seam to come with black vinyl tops that soak up heat. Does anyone use a white rubber paint on them to reflect the sun?
I haven't seen someone with white top yet..
@@HelmzJordan from what I've seen i don't think they make them. It would have to be custom. Obviously it would look best on a white vehicle. I only suggested white as it is the only rubber based paint other than black available in my area. I grew up in a desert and light colors are best to reflect solar heat.

i would not make the roof made of sheet metal .. all that weight will make the center of gravity high hence possible roll over on a tight corner ..

That is a New Bajaj Re. They are selling them brand new in the Philippines now.
@@rustyevolution6298 Did you notice how the dash is faded and worn, buttons are worn and faded. Markings all over the front. Doesn't look new to me.
@@Robmar40 These are made in India and then shipped by slow boat to the
PI. The marks on the front are part of the arrival inspection process. By both front headlights, there is a white wax pencil mark of "ok" indicating that both headlamps work properly and passed inspection after delivery to the PI. There are similar typical inspection marks on the dash. The plastic on the dash of the Bajaj RE is not manufactured shiny but has a normal dull finish. These inspection marks you see are typical of all Bajaj RE sold in there as they are fully inspected upon delivery to the Philippines. Notice all the key locks such as the ones on the dash. Not one of them has the typical scratch marks that all locks get after use. They are all brand new. Take a look at the engine compartment. Clean, no oil or exhaust marks. The braided steel cable is clean and new and there is no sign of wear anywhere on any of the drive components. The engine is brand new as is the exhaust pipe and fuel injection system. They have been selling in the PI for only a few years now. I have ridden in many AutoRickshaws in a few different countries around the world and am very familiar with the Bajaj RE in particular. There is only 130 miles total on this Bajaj. It is indeed new.
