Salvador's vibrant Carnival celebrates Brazil's black pride

Salvador is the capital of the northeastern state of Bahia where about 80 percent of the population is of African descent - the highest percentage in any city outside of Africa itself. It's carnival is a celebration of not only the survival of ancestral culture, but also for art forms that, for centuries, lived underground. CGTN's Lucrecia Franco reports.
