When the KOTOR theme nusic starts in the background when Revan speaks I get goosebumps! Also people Revan and Meetra were only good friends not lovers. It is possible for Males and Females to have a friendship without it being sexual all the time. Their friendship was before Bastila (whom Revan marries and has a child) so I see why they are close
I never took the "more" to mean anything sexual. She was his most trusted ally, and friend, besides Malak. In the Revan novel it's even revealed they have a force bond (or had one before Meetra became a wound), although nothing on the level of Revan and Bastila's.
In the novel Bastila is even jealous of Revan's closeness with Meetra. Not because she thinks Revan likes Meetra, but because Meetra has known Revan longer.
She was also his 'lifeline' for 300 years. So I'd definitely say that she was something more than just a great Jedi to him. Just nothing sexual.
To be fair to the Revan/Meetra shippers, we don't know if Revan was ever romantically involved with anyone before Bastila Shan.
The only person, besides Malak, who probably knew what was really going on between Revan & Surik is that pretentious schutta we call Atris.
Considering how I played both characters, I'm okay with shipping them. I'd do me. I'd do me so hard.
The exile deserved something better than being made with a standard face from the character creator !

They never should have put Revan and the Exile ingame. It obviously was a ploy to get people to play. I was fine with thinking that Revan and the Exile died noble, worrior deaths out in the Unknown Regions.
Well, but Revan didn't. After getting killed by the sith emperor he brought himself back to life and swore to kill him. Later he became one with the force

@@ocean7849 people had problems with how he was killed. They think (and I agree with them) that revan would not have been beaten by a sith strike team after killing hundreds of them just because the main character was there and he had to win

I always thought that the exile meet Revan out in the unknown regions and had been fighting the emperor army for 5 years and the exile and her crew made one final push together and they one and Revan got to live the rest of his life with bastila happy and peacefully. But that just my version of how its goes.

BioWare and Obsidian made the first two, and they were awesome. Unfortunetly, EA forced BioWare to first milk their own Mass Effect franchise, and then whipped them to make Anthem and deal with the resulting mess. Meanwhile Obsidian is too busy creating their own new properties with Outer Worlds and convince people they're not trying to go to war with Bethesda. I'm affraid KOTOR 3 ain't happening

Maybe the Exile is not fully there mentally? Supposedly this is long before Qui-gon learns how to preserve his consciousness after death, plus she's been sustaining Revan for three centuries, so maybe the "Jedi Entity" is more of an echo than a true Force Ghost.

From Revan's combat moves, when you fight him as a Sith, he's a Jedi Knight. Which means, Sith Warrior for when he was Darth Revan. So, if you want to play a class in honor of Revan, choose between those 2 classes.

The first Yoda puppet served as a template for all these others of this mysterious race. However the template, as always, had to have been inspired by other things.
The game is awesome, but I wished more for KOTOR 3.

GenericUsername very old comment but I wouldn't say that's a bad thing, we can get an adaptation (movie, tv show, a remake or reboot video game, etc) of KOTOR 1 and hell maybe even KOTOR 2 and if they are good hopefully right the wrongs that SWTOR did to Revan and Meetra, doubt it but you never know

Lomborg Whenever Revan unlocks a door he says *”Got it”* or *”Didn’t work”* , that’s Rino Romano. When you activate stealth mode he says something like *”I’ll avoid what I can”* .
He only says like 10 lines, but he does speak. Rino voiced Kyle Katarn in Mysteries of the Sith. He’s also famous for voicing Spider-man in the two PS1 games! *”Ah, the trusty Spidey-armor!”* .

When the horns from the theme of KOTOR started playing while Revan was talking, the inner fan geek in my squealed! Hes such a legend anyone who has played the games know the impact of the well written character and how he trumps Vader and Palpatine anyday!

I highly doubt Darth Bane made the Rule of Two, as you can see all throughout Star Wars canon there are always two Sith, Master and Apprentice. its such a shame what they did to Revan i mean seriously out of all the characters in the entire sw universe Revan was one of my favs, and instead of giving him the attention and intricate story that he deserves they throw him in a prison for 300 years ending any chance of expanding onto his story, hopefully we will get a game with him in the mandalorian wars

It makes sense if you read star wars revan, trust me it answers a ton of questions like what happened to revan between kotor 1 and 2 and it's a great read

IMO, Revan is a more compelling character, but they are very similar as they both tasted light and dark, gifted, rebellious and damn good podracers, but the defining difference between them is, Anakin lost his way because of love, and Revan was saved by it.
That is one of the best moments in the game when you know revan and the exile from kotor
not the only one I guess, I even said it in my HK-51 guide that I was disappointed from the fact hey didn't take the opportunity to expand on Revan's story when we got the HK Loyalty chip from the Foundry/Maelstrom

actually. u cant say that. cuz one thing... we didnt see ehind revan's busted mask in the DLC trailers. all we saw was his armor. remember what he says in the mission: "I AM REBORN" that means he could have done what the old sith lords were doing to ppl in the dark temple... taking over anothers body

Interesting Trivia: Spencer Garrett who voices Revan (and does a great job too) was played Simon Tarses in Star Trek: The Next Generation episode "The Drumhead". So if you're a fan of both franchises (like me) watch that episode. It is one of the best in the series and very profound even in today's society
he was able to visit them in their dreams, and ensured that his entire bloodline up to Satele was safe. (He also saw a holo of Vaner Shan before his duel with the Emperor)
Revan is my favorite character from star wars, I played in kotor, kotor 2, swtor and read Drew Karpyshyn's book "Revan"
Much the same. He's one of the biggest characters: Sith Lord who faced the true Sith Emperor and amassed a humongous fleet, turned back to the light and destroyed all he built then facing the Emperor again, was sentenced to three hundred years in agony, and then near defeated the Emperor himself. He's crazy awesome

Never mind I found it! The music at 6:05 is from JK2 (Outcast) at the end when Kyle is fighting his way through the Yavin 4 temple. I think that is cool that they used that piece of music here when Revan is being freed because Revan is voiced by the same man who voiced Kyle. Also love when they switch to the KOTOR 2 theme when talking about the Exile. They did very well with the music.

Probably not, but this has been seen before in _Knights of the Old Republic_ . Master Vandar is of Yoda's species and talks normally. Therefore, Yoda's "mixed-up" way of talking is actually a speech impediment.

I just finished the main storyline of a female jedi knight in swtor and that made me very happy this day

(I loved it even when I was playing with the limitations of F2P) I'll be making a character of each class, and for the ones I want to use the second Advanced Class of, or say I want a character of that class of the other gender, i'll use the last four slots for.

Anakin Solo was never dark side oriented and without Revan's holocron, Darth Bane would have never gotten the idea "Rule of two". Darth Revan was the first to realize the flawed logic of a Sith Lord training more than one apprentice at a time. Bane learned from Revan's holocron that, in times past, students of the dark side who were impatient and hungry for power would make alliances with his Master's other apprentices in order to defeat him and take the mantle of Master.
Read the damn book (Star wars the old republic Revan) and you will know a lot of things including who the ghost is

I have not and probably will not ever play this game, but I'm glad to see Revan in some form, alive and well. I don't know many Star Wars characters that lived for 340 years or lived to battle a Sith Lord for a total of 300 years in the form of "a battle of minds".
Does bioware like to tarnish it's reputation on purpose? I wanted KOTOR 3, but nope LucasArts like to make a game every seven yea...oh wait they shut down. And apparently they got morons to write this story and disrespect it's source material by killing the illusion of Revan's face and giving him a cartoony look/voice. God dammit
They also had cartoony look/voice in the first two games, what were you expecting the digital art to look like? More realistic? Give me an example. I for one love the look of Revan here. He has a strong look, governed by an intellect. He isn't portrayed here with any less strength and dignity you would find in a jedi master. In fact the full story about him made him less glorified as some fans of Revan might have put him. The story isn't bad. In fact if you read the story leading up to Revan's release from his prison in SWTOR its actually quite good. I just dont put Revan on a pedestal. I enjoyed finding out what happened to him inbetween the first 2 games.
I'm not so bothered by them giving Revan a name and face as much as by them taking a colossal dump on him and the Exile by offing the latter like a chump and raping the former's story sideways and turning him into a look pinata for some random Sith noobs to steal pants from.

Everyone who complained about Revan's story or look isn't a true fan. If you read the books you'd know what happened and why he was captured and that's exactly how he's suppose to look.

If you want to know the full story, After the events of KOTOR (the canon ending where revan returned to the light side and destroyed the star forge) Revan married Bastila and had a kid, but he started to have bad memories of the empire and set out one day to destroy the emperor for good,he eventually found him and with the help of Meetra Surik and the emperors wrath they faced the emperor but was defeated with Surik killed, (she is the jedi entity in the video) Revan was imprisoned for centuries
This game doesn't even feel like it belongs in the star wars universe. It may have pulled in bags of money, but they fucked up astronomically by not making Kotor 3 and even moreso by giving Revan a face. The voice was decent, but still a cartoon like flop, his dialogue also cartoon like and downright corny at times, but giving him a face for the first time in this toontastic abomination is simply inexcusable. All of the power, drama and mystery that revan commanded was shit on by the idiots at Bioware. It's just so disappointing to see a company fall from producing real greatness to panhandling cartoon crap for 10 year olds. It started with the diversion of Kotor to Mass Effect. The game had great potential and excellent parts to it, but it was a money making reroute. Everyone's afraid to say this and like to circle jerk to Mass Effect, but plain and simple, BioWare sold out when they started that game and have continued on that path ever since. This game and ME3 was the culmination of it all. All dramatic and storyline relevance lost. Shitty art, shitty writing, no originality and absolutely no mystery that holds it all together. That's the basis of what makes a game great. Get with the program BioBlunder. Endrant.
I myself disagree, I guess I found it a bit more pleasurable to have a face for Revan and I thought it was pretty good. But then again it removes that mysterious aspect to what IS beneath the mask as well so in my opinion it has its pro's and con's like everything else.

BeardAxeMcAxeBeard revan had a face in kotor and they all looked ridiculous his face in swtor is a lot better. his voice is perfect what did you expect revan isnt a huge guy so he isnt gogin to have an incredibly deep and intimating voice. neither should it be high pitch his voice has that perfect mix of wisdom and strength.
they filled in the blanks of what happened to revan after kotor up until the time of swtor and the mystery that is left is what happens in the rest of his life. your an idiot if any part of your comment is what you honestly think
