It's amazing SubhanAllah. This gentleman is a gift. Every time I play one of his videos I find a message relevant in my situation at that particular time. So much so, that I thought if I see this video say.. 2 weeks ago, I would have not picked up any of what he was saying, but as always, it came right on time and provided much needed explanations. The nafs is from djahanam
It collaborates with chitane against our soul. For what? To go back to where it belongs...nnarr or fire.
We have 2 creatures with us. The more we feed our evil one (bad character,manner; bad words, even bad thinking), the more it will grow until it dominates us. We do and say things we regret but cannot prevent ourselves from doing so. Because it's strong, because it's dominates.
If we choose to feed the good one (with good character: instead to choose anger, we fight it by salawat 3ala naby, ablutions, connection, good deeds, good thinking), it will grow until this creature who will represent all our good deeds, will make do'as for us to succed.
An Naby salla Llah 3alayihi, informed the sahabas that the difficult djihad was not the battles..but against ourselves.. against our nafs.
BarakAllah fiik kathiran kathira dear and respected Sheikh Nurjan for golden teaching.
Ya Rabb, make us worthy of it.
