Because he's tough and mature. And tough, mature people work and play even when in pain. He's in no danger of further harm to his jaw by participating in the evening's activities, and he'll feel the same amount of pain either way. In fact, joining in the fun and practice will necessarily help to take his mind off the pain rather than allowing him to wallow in it. You'll notice that even though Seungcheol made him join in the circle for the game, NO ONE made him actually run during it. He just had to be present. And for the dancing, you saw that during much of it he seemed to forget his pain and have fun. Jihoon's willingness to endure with minimal complaint & a sense of humor - to work & play through the pain - only re-affirmed my respect for him as a person and his status as my ultimate bias.
I'm just suffering from toothache right now while watching some SVT vids and then I saw this... It makes my tooth aching even more... I feel like crying. It hurts so much.
Looking back on this, I wonder how tiny he was six years ago. He may have grown over the years to be 5'5, so he could have been as short as 5'2 at 17 years old (so tiny omg TwT).

I mean I haven't had my wisdom teeth removed (it's not far from now though), bit I have TMJ, and about two months ago, my jaw would not stop hurting to the point I wanted to cry, but I held back my tears and I pushed forward. Now I'm getting physical therapy, and my jaw doesn't hurt too much anymore. But I still CAN'T HAVE ANY CAFFEINE. sadness
i have all of the symptoms of tmj but they tested me for it and it isnt it ???? my jaw wont open sometimes and pops and clicks a lot and its so annoying since theyre isnt much i can do ill get physical therapy soon hope your tmj gets better !!!

+irism well, I just got my own removed a week ago and had to cool it so it won't swell too much. It also help if you are in a bit pain but when it gets stronger your should take some medicine. That was at least what my dentist told me.
