Its fascinating watching peoples reactions to Ange being Ange. He is open, honest and genuine, and most people just dont get it, because they arent used to hearing a manager be those things
Really appreciated the general call to empathy from ange towards the end. He's worked in football for 26 years, yet got treated like he's a johnny-come-lately just because he'd never managed in the prem - something that was totally out of his control. Just silly. I like Ange when he slows down and gets philosophical towards the end of pressers. A thoroughly decent man.
As an Australian he's just like the rest of us we love to have a go and don't give a damn what people think or say and we're really not scared of anything or anyone it's just the way we were born love The Big Fella😊😊😊
Every poll I’ve seen Spurs fans overwhelmingly back Ange. It’s just the media trying to create tension for clicks. The club backs him and the fans back him. That’s all that matters.
yep, even in the reddit sub post-bournemouth; everyone was LIVID & they're an extreme example of the average fan. but even there it was like 93% Ange In! that told me all i needed to know.
As a season ticket holder I am revelling in the excitement and the attitude he is bringing to the club....if recruitment supports him he will build a team and ethos that will make us proud. Will we be successful ? Who knows...in sport success is never guaranteed. coys
The media likes drama, shows like talk shit really enjoy making drama, its no longer about the truth its about what bs can be said to get subs and likes.
It's not as close as you think, mate. It's the game management bit that pulls our hair out. Not playing Spence, playing players out of positions. But if he can learn, he'll be ok
Make no mistake the players will walk through fire for Ange and for each other......Sunday will be very hard - it may even be very painful....keep the faith...coys
Ange speaks with logic and common sense. Under Conte pundits were saying how boring the football was now Ange brings in front foot attacking football the pundits now say he doesn't know what he is doing. They just swing to whatever narrative that gets the most likes
It's Angeball, it's what happens. For the life of me, I don't know how we (Celtic) never got caught out in the same way when were playing the same system. The margins were razor-thin at times and this time they weren't on Spurs side.
@@shottskies I don't think so. His success at Celtic was far from certain, especially early in his tenure. As he might say himself, if he wins at Celtic it was to be expected, but if he fails then 'who was this guy ?' Don't look at Celtic in our last few seasons and think that we cantered every one. Far from it.
@@shottskies Thanks though, you got me thinking about that. Personally, I like Ange and his style of football and wish him success. I think the club wanted him to stay but other opportunities were there. All that being said, he's a strong personality, if I was lucky enough to be a player I wouldn't have wanted to be on the wrong side of him.
@@jmmeares Its kinda silly though isnt it? Ange hasnt ever even implied a lack of backing from levy, and the signings this season have been good. Genuine question. Ange wouldnt even want to spend 2 billion on overly-expensive players, even if levy did open the chequebook. So whats the point of the protest again? I'm kinda Like ange said: I respect other fans who want to protest, and am fine with them doing so, but I also wish we could just support the team and all work together on getting us through this injury crisis instead. Together. Just hope no 'levy out' chants or protest is heard-by, or noticeable-to, the players. I want them focusing on the plan and playing our footy (and winning). Like, who knows what levy, ange and Lange have planned for january. I'd protest after Jan if we bring literally no one in imo. But, equally, i respect you voicing your opinion too.
@@jord.an6123 To be clear, I'm not organising it. It's just what I've heard. In our modern world, everyone, right or wrong gets to voice their opinion. I see your points and agree. The point of the protest is, these people believe that the club is limited by Levy's leadership in footballing terms and they say we can't compete with the 5 teams that have won 98% of the available trophies in the last 20 years all whilst under his tenure. I know many are frustrated with how the seating is planned which greatly diminishes the stadium atmosphere which the club has made clear they have no interest in changing. (It's leveraged for income not for atmosphere.) They also say that they are paying the most to watch a game and feel that the club is not reflecting those high prices in the way it spends and is run. There's actually a really great chant out now which I think balances the situation perfectly we sing "We don't care about Levy, he don't care about me, all I care about is Kulusevski" That's a reactive we to do it, the proactive way would be to implore for Levy to spend before the window begins. I'm personally Levy and Ange in but I can see where most other rational views are coming from. They're all good conversations to have imo.
@@jord.an6123 To be clear, I'm not organising it. It's just what I know. 😂 Maybe... I suppose it depends on your pov. Everyone has the right to express their opinions these days. The point of the protest - some people believe that Levy is the limiting factor in the clubs bid to win trophies. In his 20 plus year tenure over 90+% of all trophies available have been won by 5 just teams in those 20 years. They believe that his spending policy doesn't match these teams thus suggesting that we'll never win a trophy. Additionally, they pay the highest ticket prices and believe that Levy should match their spend on the pitch as they do out of their pockets. There are more issues around stadium atmosphere - 3 fan groups have pulled out of lobbying to have the seats arranged to improve the noise and atmosphere in the ground. The club have made it clear they have no interest in their views as they chose to continue a model the favours income over atmosphere. In terms of chants - Just last week a new song was started... "I don't care about Levy, he don't care about me, all I care about is Kulusevski" imo this strikes a great balance with a fair and polite message. Yeah, you could do that which would be reactive or you could be proactive and push for him to spend now before the window opens. I personally am Levy and Ange in but I can understand both sides and think that calm rational conversations can be healthy. Just like you have. 👍🤍 COYS
Postecoglou “Football management is a harder job than Prime Minister” what a stupid load of old bollocks thing to say from a guy whose only managed one club in one serious football league ie the Premier League. The J league, Waltzing Matilda league & the SPL don’t count.
Ange talking like we haven't got two pennies to rub together, not like we're one of the richest clubs in the world. Pure Levy waffle, he's the perfect employee, buying into this bollox.

Yeah its f#&king crazy, some of them think he's arrogant and narcissistic 🤣
Ange is about positivity an keep going mindset, negative people don't like positive people

It's not because "he's never managed in the prem" it's because he's specifically only managed in Australia, Asia and Scotland
Couldn’t agree more
The culture Ange has installed at the Spurs is unbelievable. If the fans can be patient they will reap the rewards.
True but the whole poznan when city won broke anges dream of a Liverpool/united style mentality
