As long as u depends on US and donor countries, u will never be economicly independent. The ambassador's have more clout than any political leader in SL. If u dont see something wrong with that, well..
Only a lazy cat fights for a dead rat. If our public officials are not corrupt we can raise $480 million in 6 months as a nation. Soba minded citizens' countries demonstrate to express their dissatisfaction to their leaders when they go for these new colonial strategy moneys. The MCC, IMF etc have never succeeded anywhere in Africa. In fact it will surprised you to know that, these are wester financial policies tested in Africa. After been tested, if it work well they stop it here in Africa and take it to them. But it it fails, they abandoned it and design new one. So, it is not actually meant to develop Africa. The west will never give us any idea to develop. Our academic doctors of different fields, professors, and all other experts have to come together as nation and plan ourselves. Let us put our political parties aside and look at Sierra Leone not for our pockets but for the general good. Soon after the MCC money arrives, you will hear other things behind it that may not either fit us or might not be in our interest but it will be too late because we have accepted and started using the money.
