New sub here. I collect modern but I love love vintage !! I like that you went slow enough for us to see the cards and who the players are. Most people just zip over them so fast that we cannot even see anything. I am a Tigers fan so I love loved the Ty Cobb's !! My daddy had a Ty Cobb but he sold his entire collection at the worse time. The mid 80's. I have a nice little collection of vintage players. I am not a set builder but I have started to collect the 68 Tigers. It has been fun. Fantastic video, thanks for sharing !!
I know you have to spend money to make money. But when I see an incredible table like this at shows, I always wonder where the heck the dealer got all these.
I love the vintage stuff too...but I have to question just how MUCH of that did he sell. I and my wife have a small collectibles business (no I don't deal in sports cards typically) and we've learned LONG AGO that when doing a show....have CHEAP stuff ($100 and under) because that stuff IS WHAT ultimately pays for the table/booth, tolls, gas, food, hotel stay, etc. Most collectors aren't walking around with 8 grand in their pocket nor are they willing to spend that. He would NEVER make it at a small show. If he did good, it was ONLY because it was at the National (which by the way, we did twice when it came to Cleveland many years ago). And do we have expensive pieces in our inventory -sure....but as I say, those types of collectors are few and far. Do we sell to them? Sure - at a big show, we'll make several big sales over a grand..but once again, IF those collectors don't show up, you'll be eating shit all the way home....we find it's good to have stuff from $5 to $2000 and usually it results in success.
Amazing booth! So much vintage goodness and dream cards.
I think so too! We missed you for sure.

Thanks so much for subbing, truly appreciated. I try to show stuff as if thru my eyes. I’m loving the cards and want to share them with others
That's the most impressive vintage table that I've seen.
Agree completely
Orlando I looked and admired that same booth at the National. So many great cards in there. I wish I would have got a chance to meet you !!
Thanks Alan, hung around this table cause it was incredible. Wish we could have met, next year.
Beautiful collectables Orlando. I especially like the "oddball" stuff. Thank you for the showcase.

Most of these big dealers have been in the business forever.

6:19 🤯 wow im surprised they have a top loader that long for a card that awesome 😂 im trying to imagine what it would look like graded 🤔🧐
Incredible stuff
Orlando do you know who the dealer is for those cards? Does he have a website?
This was from the National, I just don’t remember the dealer. I’ll have to look at the video again closer
I'd have that showcase bolted shut ...WITH bullet/shatter proof glass.....just saying. I'd also have business travel insurance.
Agree completely
Couldn’t make it to nationals but saw some cards I want how can I contact them?
Tried to get the dealer name somewhere but guess not. His tables were awesome.
Wow
For sure
What’s the shops name?
Not sure
The reason it's a million dollar table is........he WAY over prices so nobody can buy. Just using show as his museum
That’s for sure, but nice to see
Actually Don sells boatloads all year long especially there to people with deep pockets who spend big !!
