It was drop in and it works perfectly!

@@RogueSarge do you have a part # or is it the only blued one available, thank you very much, great gun and it feeds everything but the slide doesn't stay back after you shoot the last round on the empty magazine

@1911mr They have both blued and stainless, they sell out quickly though. Let me look for a part #.

Sarge, was that standard or +P ammo?

The last box, the Federal Premium was +P. All Dan Wesson 1911’s are rated for +P ammunition. I had no problems with it.
