Andrew Bogut - Super Skilled Center (Point Center)

  • I have long admired the Aussie's sensational ball handling and court vision, so I decided to make a video about it. Bogut is one of those guys who could've been much scarier had injuries not gotten in the way early in his career. He looked like he had some touch from the outside before the arm/hand injuries and who knows where he would be now without that? What matters is that he still managed to retain his ability to distribute the basketball, and is still a game-changing defensive anchor.
Hopefully he can get healthy and stay that way, so he can keep generating plays like these, and bring continued success to the Dubs.

Everyone is super surprised about the ball handling of Bogut, but he was once a point guard back in local competitions back in Australia, that was until he grew to 7ft

i honest don't remember the last time a team won the championship with a superstar center (shaq is what comes to my mind). Bogut is everything you need as a center. Tremendous defense (2nd team this year), incredible passer and every high basketball IQ. He is physical, he is tough and he plays dirty while doing all the hard work setting screens and boxing out. Good centers can get overlooked easily nowadays. To me it's all about having a presence in the paint while having contributions on the offensive end.

Unfortunate Bogut had that terrible elbow injury years ago, at that time he was top two centre and on the way up. Now at Gsw they are using him more for his defensive and passing skills so I'm glad he did not drift away.

+MrYoumitube Very unfortunate, but at the same time it was the injury that made Milwaukee give him up..

This video really makes me appreciate how brilliant the Warriors front office is.
The Warriors roster is incredible. Every player has bought into the system and fits perfectly in it. Take a look at the qualifications of the Warriors team:
    1. Curry - arguably the best player since MJ, required to lead. Elite All-star
    2. Thompson - a top 5 shooter in the league, top 3 sg, required to score a lot. All-star
    3. Barnes - considered to have potential kind of similar to Wiggins and would probably be averaging 20+ for a bad team. Instead, he plays within the system. All-star potential
    4. Green - Most versatile player in the NBA, allows the warriors to go small and run, great passer. All-star
    5. Bogut - doesn't care about his own stats, does whatever it takes to win, former All-star, excellent passer
    6. Iguodala - former 2nd man for 76ers, would start for most NBA teams, takes minor role on the warriors.

Dude...your videos are awesome, great for fans like me. Your videos give me visual proof to back up all the basketball knowledge I present to people. Bogut is a perfect example, dude is a beast! But you won't see that in his stats, along with many others. Great work. Demarre Carroll, Al Horford, basically the whole Atlanta Hawks team deserves to be highlighted.

Ironically out of bad things (his injury which limited him offensively), comes a good thing - he became the ideal fit for GSW. Big defender, screener and passer. Would not have been at the dubs and part of this great team, except for the injury.

Cavs fans telling themselves what they wanna hear "bogut would not have made a difference in game 6 and 7" ya right his passing, defense, rebounding, and rim protection wouldn't of made a difference? Warriors take 7 easily with bogut. They were forced to play with the lowest IQ big man in the league (festus ezeli)

    • @vikaskumarpatel5017
      @vikaskumarpatel5017 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

Why did they sit him in 2015 Finals? If they had Kyrie and Love, they would have won 2015 Finals. Warriors did not even loose him in every game like Kyrie and Love. They were the stars of the team, Bogut is their 5th best player. Kyrie was killing him in every pick and roll.
Bogut is my favorite Center but keep your excuses at home. Love was a better player in 2015 than this year and Warriors were a worse team in 2015 than this year.
Even Mozgov played great in 2015 but didn't play anything in 2016. So, you just can't think that this could have had happened.
Curry played bad in both the finals considering he was the MVP both year (Unanimous once). A role player stopped him and Kyrie killed him this year. I liked Curry but because of his fans I think Legends are just too great in front of him, he is still just a star player on a great team. When he'll be in a team with bad defenders then I'll see how'd he play.

Here you're bringing up injuries yet wasn't it Kyrie Irving and Keivn Love that was out for the WHOLE Finals in 2015? Bogut literally missed only 2 games. How about Warriors 2nd and 3rd best player don't play for the WHOLE Finals and then you'll really see what it was like for the Cavs in 2015.
Btw we're getting Bogut so fuck you and the rest of the dickriding GSW bandwagon fans.
