Because they didn't try and change the formula to much and get all artsy fartsy with it. They just know what they are good and and keep it consistent and it shows.

This song reminds me of growing up with childhood schizophrenia. (Which is continuing well into my thirties now.) The voices were so loud. The hallucinations that made it hard to tell the difference between what was real and what wasn't. The delusions I endured having, trying so hard to make sense of what was going on. I felt insane, but I didn't believe I really was. The psychosis was so powerful it overrode everything. Things didn't finally settle down until I finally found the right treatment at age 18. It's quieter in my head now, but if I miss a dose of my anti-psychotic... yeah, kill the noise is exactly what I wanted to do growing up. This song hits me really close to home because of that.

I’ve been a fan of papa roach since I was 11 in middle school, they saved me. Of course life took over and now I’m back and they’re saving me from myself again. Last resort got me through it and now kill the noise is getting me through it now. Thank you for staying amazing and true to your sound and who you guys are. I’m 23 now again thank you for being amazing.
