It is MUCH better, and since it's original the actors have better character development, acting, and the Song Ji Won (the funny one who tries too hard to be funny in this drama) is very genuine in the original age of youth.

And it cant be an adaption because it's an exact copy, right?

Would u call animes as ripoffs of mangas? Same thing here. A ripoff is also illegal, which isn't the case here as the two parties have an agreement for the show to be produced. Just because u don't like the show doesn't mean u can make unjustified claims against it
